lcandy
I don't know how many people have this problem, but I suspect there is quite a few. I seem to accumulate such trash in my bank over time. If it's not bits I've got through a quest that I no longer need, old cheap ores that are not worth smelting, or burnt food. Now I have a tone of this stuff, I want to get rid of it but I don't want to use the drop command as my mouse will wear out lol So, how about strategicaly placed bins around the map (especialy at banks)? They would work the same as a bank, so you could simply dump everything of one kind at once. The trash would stay there, until the bin was full or another player picked it up "another mans trash is another mans treasure" or somthing, lol. My only other alternative I thought of was to load up all my trash in note form, take off armour and weapons then go fight a really powerfull monster. When I die the trash is gone, I hope :? So what do you think? Waste of time, or waste less time, pun intended.
limpxbizkid
thats really dumb, why not jsut drop the junk, burnt food (why the hell do u bank that stuff again?) on the ground. coz chances r, by clicking on an item in ur bank/inv then selecting to place it in a bin ur clicking jsut as much. if its half decent crap sell it in a bank sale (ores as u mentioned). if u cant be bothered jsut give all the stuff to a newb and convince them that the burnt stuff is more commonly known as "rare black lobsters". bins r a waste of time indeed
Domovoi
Hey don't be too harsh on the guy, he's just suggesting something. This is a disscusion and suggestion form afterall. But I too think that it's a waste of time (nice use of pun :P ) . You might as well just note the stuff and drop it or give it to someone. lcandy
It's more to do with the volume of clicking. If I am cooking 100 Tuna (well, no if's, I am), for training, thats 200 clicks just on the range. I'm burning about half of them right now  so that's another 100 clicks on top if I drop them there and then. So to save time, my fingers and my mouse, I nip into the bank and use store all, which is just 2 clicks per cooking trip to ditch my burnt fish (in the bank). Of course this would be a whole lot simpler and easier with a drop all command. But seeing as they have refused to implement such a simple and useful tool (unless they have and I missed it, god hope that isn't the case lol), I thought I would do a bit of outside the box thinking to solve the problem. 0ri
Hmm, no point in having bins in the bank, just deposit all in thebank, click on note withdraw ,withdraw all , then click drop thats just four clicks, not much point in having a bin as it will only save 2 clicks. Bubsa
I'd be pretty annoyed if the next update was Jagex saying: "New item released: Bins!" This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you.

assassin_696
Actually, i think it's not a bad idea. But why not dump them all in Pete's party chest in the seer's village party hall. Anything burnt would probably be removed anyway, or are you f2p? "Da mihi castitatem et continentam, sed noli modo"

NOTE THE BOLDED WRITING Now, I've done a bit of cooking in my time (currenty at lvl 99 :D) and I'm pretty sure you don't click twice per fish that you cook... Nt entirely sure tho :P (that was sarcasm for you people that didn't understand) anyway, back to topic: Waste of time, just note and drop mate ^ What is this? Barihawk
Want a Pie, the original post and the one you quoted were from two and a half years ago. Back then, you had to click on every fish to cook on a range or fire. There was no cook-x. Keep in mind guys, that this is TWO POINT FIVE YEARS OLD. My heart is broken by the terrible loss I have sustained in my old friends and companions and my poor soldiers.
