Bluejayfan94
Brayen's spell quickly comes to work, as the ceiling starts to slowly come down on him. A small tree sprouts from the cave ground, seemingly impossible. The tree quickly grows, slowing the ceiling to barely moving a few milimetres. Brayen fears that the force behind the ceiling may be too strong. He only has about 5 minutes until the tree snaps. He hopes that the others manage to reach them before then. Brayen, trying to keep the tree strong casts healing, and another again. Each spell only gives them a few more seconds, but he is quickly running out of mana (Couldn't think of anything else but this) HomerSPC's Lets Plays : : Minecraft, Portal, Halo and more! dragoonson
Erm...spell cast per day?Lolage Ekellstreep kissed his holy symbol again flinging the rock to the floor. On the off chance he died,he would rather die with people who knew his name. "I'm Ekellstreep Tellsea.I'm an Elf cleric serving Death and Air.I hope we don't die..."He spoke so fast you could hardly hear it,but you would understand it nonetheless. He sees the man who had recently identified himself as Brayen healing a small tree,he also notices that each spell is getting weaker than the last. The man must believe he is running out of magical energy. From his robes he produced a ghost-touched bottle, full of normal water. The ghost had made it look bluish, like the magical energy people constantly choose to believe.Tossing it to the druid,he attempted to help the man heal the tree, unsure if it will work on plants, but tries nonetheless. so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! klankaos
Emmett grasped the sword in his fist, then threw it away and saw the engravings on the wall. They reminded him of a spell... one he was particularly proficient in. He grinned as he began casting his fireball, glowing flames wreathing his wrists and extending a full foot to either side. He held it for a few seconds while completing his incantation and then flung his ball of flames at Xarosen, hoping desperately that he had guessed right and praying for it to be on target. Bluejayfan94
Brayen notices the vial of liquid being thrown at him. He knows the tree is strong enough for a few seconds left alone. He grabs the vial out of the air. Looking at it, with a sigh, he says "Ekellstreep, thank you. We will live another day!" Brayen slowly drinks the liquid, his mana regained. He looks at Ekellstreep in the corner of his eye, slightly nodding, before he turned back to the tree. He started to heal the tree again, which was starting to split. He heard fighing coming from where the light was. It sounded like fireballs. Hopefully they could help the people at the rocks before it was too late. "Nature help them" he muttered under his breath. nine naked men
He paced the room, throwing nervous glances at Brayen, who was healing the sapling which was their only defence against the suddenly murderous cavern. He growled, and hefted his morningstar. Suddenly, he hurled it, [bleep]ed-ball up, towards the ceiling. There was a loud crunch, and a short shower of stone chips. He looked upwards, and saw the mace had bitten into the slowly descending wall of rock. "If that tree breaks, Teh'Ranon should hold it for a while longer. I just pray to the Above that those who went into the lit room are faring well enough. We can't get out of this without some help," Langz said, grimacing as he stared Brayen's face, lit by the luminous rocks and the constant glow of his healing auras. sleep like dead men wake up like dead men
dragoonson
Running out of favor with his main deity,Ekellstreep moved his attention to the iron bars on the other side of the cave. The rocks had hurt him,but not burnt him,so it would be of no use throwing them...But the lever could be pulled by a particularly long on...Noticing a nice stick in the hand of a warrior-type man,he realised he could use that.(His club is hardly long enough, and bolts would probably break.) "Excuse me kind sir,"he says as he searches for another ghost-touched bottle to give to Brayen."May I borrow that rather long and seemingly rather hard pole?"While trying not to laugh at the accidental innuendo he had created.Oh and while he is trying to help Brayen,he's actually talking to Langz... so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! Harakiri
The fireballs strike Xarosen and he merely laughs. "Thats it?" He runs at you, suddenly noticing a bit of water coming through the gates to the cavern. In the cave, the morningstar has brought forth life giving water, stone cold though. As you try for the lever, you notice a green outline...a human? Looking closer you notice red eyes and then you see it enter the gates. The spirit materializes before you, and begins to moan. You all cover your ears as you then notice that it is a woman. A banshee. If it continues moaning, there is no way you can get a hit on her. Banshee: Level 20 something in the area needs to pin her so you can attack. You then notice that the ceiling is not coming down as fast. The water was pressuring it so that it would fall! But, that does not help the banshee problem...
dragoonson
Ekellstreep, prioritizing the banshee over escaping the room, turns away from the man with the...pole. Grabbing his holy symbol,he holds it out to the banshee.Sensing he has her attention,he speaks in a commanding voice."Why is it you return to the world?" The banshee is unable to scream, and states her reason.(Which is...?) Slightly uncaring,Ekellstreep decides to banish her, that is probably what the druid would want anyway."I command you to return to the underworld, spirit.I command you by the power of Elss,High God of the Gods.Do so,spirit for the matter compelling you to remain has been resolved.Go now or feel the wrath of my Gods." so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! Harakiri
"I return to the world in order to wreak havoc upon the normal people who had killed me." The banshee states. The holy symbol does not help her, she merely throws it aside and continues to scream, this time, it seems she is singing a song involving killing all people on the face of the earth. dragoonson
Sad,but I do like to use heal on undead... "Very well demon, but I do warn you, after this no more of that afterlife business, you're going straight to the Oblivion."Ekellstreep hated undead, mayhaps because they killed the abbot who had raised him. Picking up the holy symbol from before,he cleans it with some ghost-touched water. He also takes some normal water from his robes. "Elss, hear my plea.Your brother,my liege,he has released a demon upon me."He spoke quickly, repeating the sentence thrice, and started a new one."Elss, hear my plea.I was told to call upon thee.I was told by Ekellstreep Tellsea!" As such, the wrath of Elss, truly was unleashed upon the banshee. Her song changed into a scream of pain as she was pulled into a rather small vortex...Ekellstreep watched, hoping she had been weakened enough, for he would have difficulty performing such an exorcism again. Out of the corner of his eye,he spotted a long rock, similar to the one that had cut him.Using his Air domain power,he shoved it between the bars in the doorway and attempted to use it to push the lever down. While he did so he stole a glance over his shoulder at the banshee... This better work >.< Ekellstreep's running out of favor with the gods... so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! Harakiri
The banshee defeated, it cast itself back to the hell is which it came. Everybody stands and shakes their heads. The lever seems to be now moving down the cave. "Oh no, not another time limit!" You notice that if the lever gets to the end, it will fall into a pit. You pray for the gods that your companion in the light knows what he is doing.
Bluejayfan94
([bleep] Ratchet, I was gonna fight the thing too!) Brayen looked out, from the corner of his eye, and saw Ekellstreep, standing by the door. The rock was a few inches too short that he tried to open the door with. Brayen turned from the crumbling tree, to help Ekellstreep. He cast a special spell, one that most have never heard of before. He shot the black bolt at the rock, extending it another couple of feet. (Erm, No comment) The lever slowly moved down the hall, almost getting out of reach from the extended rock. HomerSPC's Lets Plays : : Minecraft, Portal, Halo and more! klankaos
Emmett studied the wall closer, looking for further clues. He could have sworn it was a diagram of a fireball. He searched around the walls as Xarosen rushed ever closer, praying for some strange clue, some further insight into how to defeat this strange demon. Being immature is a part of being mature. nine naked men
Langz watched the Druid trying to heal the tree for what seemed like days, and realized the futility of it all. This seemed like a cruel trick, they would do all they can, and that still would not be enough. The painful screamings of the banshee seemed to have cleared his thoughts. They needed more time! He looked upwards, at his faithful weapon embedded in the rock. It had served him well, yet it would not taste blood before his death, just the sour water that tried its hardest to crush them all. Rage flowered inside him, like a burning blossom of fear and anger, filling him with an unstoppable river of hate, at this situation, at that old fool who sent them here, at the fact that his bones would rot long before anyone finds his corpse. He reached upwards, wrenching Teh'Ranon from the stone that still seeked to flatten them all. He paid no heed to the steady stream of water that poured down now that its plug had been pulled. He swung it skywards again, feeling the shatter of the glowing roof all through his arm. More water poured down, now a small flood. No matter, it would all drain through that black hole which would eventually consume their only hopes of salvation. He stared now at the gates wrought of blackened iron, which seemed to mock him. They stood, like immovable guardians of the freedom which would await them beyond this shimmering prison. But what if what's beyond that portal is worse than this? Almost certain, seeing as this was only the first encounter they've had. But that didn't matter. Better to die fighting unimaginable bringers of doom than here, crushed like a pathetic bug under the foot of a giant. He charged the gates, swinging his weapon. Sparks skittered along the [bleep]es of his mace and along the heavy bars as they collided. He knew the gate would hold, but he needed an outlet for his anger, otherwise he would burst like a rotten fruit. Harakiri
You notice on the arena there are more markings, this time of fire and water. You think to yourself..."Boiling water..." dragoonson
Sorry bluejay lol.To be honest clerics would be better against the banshee than druids though. Ekellstreep was now in ankle-high water, which would flow into the hole the lever was headed to.He was low on favor with the gods,he had enough for maybe a few heals, but not much more.He checked the newly ghost-touched bottle in his hand, wondering how much he could sell it for,and the favor it could give him before the intense prayers... The warrior was now attempting to bash the gates, and the druid,he didn't know what the druid was doing, but it was nothing he could help.Curious,he climbs the glowing rocks, each painfully cutting his hands.Ignoring the pain to be healed later,he tries to get as close to the hole in the ceiling now... It would be nice if you guys could cast that spell sometime soon, perhaps now? so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! Hawks
I am so stupid!! |\/\/| might have been more reconizable than MMM. I dunno. Hawk prepares a fire bolt, glad that his father insisted on not just healing spells during his training, and also glad that he had read up on fire spells. He aims carefully, planning to hit the water rushing in from the cave head-on. "Emmett! Can you prepare a wind spell to get the steam to go at Xarosen?" he yells over the sound of the water, his spell at the ready, gathering power in his palm. Fire bolt is just a more focused version of a fireball. sig by Soa.....tip.it times.....art & mediadeviantart/flickr/last.fm/steam/twitter/tumblr/youtube

klankaos
Emmett grinned. 'Ahh - hadn't thought of that. Yes, most certainly. Glad someone other than myself is here - I'd be dead for sure.' This last was said during the opening stages of his invocation, one that culminated in a primordial-sounding grunt and a rush of air flowing from his upraised hands towards the steam. The cyclone whipped the steam around and flung it at Xarosen, hitting him full-on. Emmett watched with bated breath, hoping desperately that this idea would work - they didn't have enough time to figure out something else. Being immature is a part of being mature. Brayen hears the fireball coming from where the light was. He knew that the others would come to help. He took his attention away from the tree, and turned it to Ekellstreep. His hands were bleeding, and it didn't look like he could take much more. Brayen's hands started to glow green, ready to heal Ekellstreep. HomerSPC's Lets Plays : : Minecraft, Portal, Halo and more! dragoonson
"Relax friend."Ekellstreep notices Brayen, ready to heal him."I am a holy man,I am able to heal myself for now.Lets see where this water's coming from before we heal me,lest you lose some of your magical ability,or I lose my divine favor." He climbs higher, until he can reach the hole in the ceiling. He wipes his bleeding hands on the ankles of his boots and reaches forward. No,too far for his fingers. He uses his club now,its hooked slightly for that reason. And now he hangs a few feet off the ground, with only a wooden club to hold him up.Struggling,he tries to pull himself up... so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder!
