June 24, 200818 yr I'll head to Alpha, since my life debt to Brayen is, as of yet, unfulfilled. sleep like dead men wake up like dead men
June 24, 200818 yr Author Archimage takes you all to the center of the library and says "Godspeed", before teleporting you all. You all have been teleported to varrock town square. ALPHA: You depart from town square and decide to start by going to the nearby Inn, The Blue Moon Inn. Inside of the Blue Moon, you find a couple of people fighting over who gets the last piece of steak. You dodge all incoming platters and beer mugs as you go to the bartender. "What?" He asks. "Have you heard anything of a man named Blue Jay?" "Nope." "Thank you." You head off for the bazaar, and as you enter the land behind the varrock west bank, you suddenly feel a presence. "Hello there, the bazaar is not open." The figure says. The figure wears a black robe and hides his face. "Good day. Do you know anything of a man named Blue Jay?" "Perhaps." MISSION: INTERROGATE THE OLD MAN. BETA: You head from Varrock town square to the east, and travel outside of the gates of varrock. Outside of the gates, you walk to the south a bit until you see a set of horses wrangled to a fence. Beside them stand elves. Zerg screams. "HELLO MY BROTHERS!" The elves look up and laugh. "Not you again." One says. You walk Zerg toward them. Suddenly, Zerg starts killing one of the elves. "ACCEPT ME!" He screams. You scream at him as the elves raise there bows and bring them to bear on Zerg. Now you must fight the elves! MISSION: FIGHT THE ELVES AND PROTECT ZERG
June 24, 200818 yr Langz took a step towards the mysterious figure, his hand on the hilt of his morningstar. "Well... speak up, then. We don't want this situation to get... out of hand," he said with a nod of his head that could've indicated anything, though it does draw attention to the massive lump of steel hanging from side. The old man didn't seem to be ready to give the answer anytime this century. Langz waited impatiently, his tapping foor slowly wearing a furrow in the dirt. June 24, 200818 yr Author "You are quite a fellow talking to an old man like a convict, I know much, just ask anything. His name is Blue Jay..." "We have already established that." "He is 5 8', weighs 145 pounds, has blue eyes, brown hair, walks around with a Blue Jay on his shoulder. He wears raggedy clothes, and I know nothing except he disappeared while at the inn down yonder." He pointed North East, toward the Jolly Boar inn. "If you know so much old man, please follow us to the inn." "But, I have much to do!" You raise your weapon. "I guess I will follow you." "Thank you." You get to the Jolly Boar an hour later, and watch the bartender get into a fight with a black knight. You walk to the bartender. "Excuse me sir." The knight and the bartender look at you. MISSION: INTERROGATE BARTENDER AND BLACK KNIGHT
June 24, 200818 yr Emmett sighs. He didn't really want to hurt the elves, but they WERE supposed to protect Zerg. He quickly pulled a small piece of sulphur from his components pouch and began an incantation, moving into the center of the elves. Suddenly, an explosion of fire rocked the ground around as his fireburst spell went off. The elves stumbled back, slightly dazed, and Emmett took the opportunity to slip aside out of the field of view of the elves, while he started preparing another spell, hoping that his friends would be able to hold the elves away from him for long enough to get a spell off. Being immature is a part of being mature.
June 24, 200818 yr Brayen looked at the Black Knight, and then at the bartender. Neither looked happy to see them. Though, how could you tell with the Black Knight's helm. "Hello, fine sirs!" Brayen said, trying to sound peaceful. "Have you heard of a man named Blue Jay?" The bartender looked at Langz, he was grabbing his sword. "Uh, who?" He questioned. Brayen motioned Langz to be ready to strike. ""He is about 5 8', has blue eyes, and brown hair. He usually has a Blue Jay on his shoulder." "Hmm, let me think if I saw him." (Ratchet, your turn!) HomerSPC's Lets Plays : : Minecraft, Portal, Halo and more!
June 24, 200818 yr Ekellstreep, seeing his companion cast a potentially powerful spell, grabbed Zerg roughly by his shoulders and dragged him behind the spellcaster.Casting a few spells to ward off danger,he dashed in,his club raised, ready to protect his companion from the elves. With the help of his Gods,Ekellstreep sent a sudden gust of wind into the elves, knocking one out,but the rest stood firm. Your turn,Klan... so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! June 24, 200818 yr Author The bartender stroked his chin in thought. "I did see a man with a Blue Jay, he was..." The black knight pulled his sword from a scabbard at his waist and cut down the bartender. "What do you want with this Blue Jay man?" "We would like to know if anyone has seen him, and its obvious you know of him having cut down the bartender like that." You reply. "Very well, the black knights have him, and he is being ritually sent off to a land different from our own." "What are you doing here?" You ask. "I was sent here to strike down anyone with information on Blue Jay. Now..." "You must kill us yadda yadda yadda." The black knight prepares to fight you...
June 25, 200818 yr "No, we were going to leave!" The black knight didn't care, and stepped towards Brayen. Backing up, Brayen pulls his blade. Langz, beside him, with his sword already by the Knight's chin. Looking at his dagger he got from his old master, Teldris. (Teldrassil from WoW *wink*) Brayen holds the dagger, its special powers swarm the Knight, injuring him very badly. (Langz, Finish him off) HomerSPC's Lets Plays : : Minecraft, Portal, Halo and more!

June 25, 200818 yr "Very well, then," Langz glanced at Brayen one more time to confirm his intentions. He then took a stance, legs set wide on the slightly sticky floor of the tavern (Some dwarves must have come by), and readied his Mace. (Mace, Bluejay, not a Sword. :P) He spun swinging Teh'Ranon away from the Knight, but it came back around from the other side, where the Knight was obviously unprotected, his sword trying to guard from the blow he thought was coming from the right. The head of his weapon smashed into the Black Knight's chest, crumpling his dark armour like a piece of paper in a blender. Blood dripped from his helmet to join the spreading puddle on the floor. "So much for interrogation, hmm?" He winked at Brayen, "Let's get going... maybe the Oracle has some information on this 'other world'." Hopefully you are allowed. But now, on with the story... Brayen agreed with Langz, but before they left the bar he remembered something. "Where is the other one? Hawks, I believe." Langz looked around, and gave a confused look. "Did he even set out with us?" He replied. "I believe so. But, I guess we will go to the Oracle. Maybe he is already there, or we will see him on the way." Brayen said as they walked out of the bar. HomerSPC's Lets Plays : : Minecraft, Portal, Halo and more!
June 25, 200818 yr Ekellstreep, absorbing the arrows the elves were firing at him, turned to the spellcaster.Nope, still preparations.Turning,he saw a arrow whizz past his right eye, cutting him,but also headed straight for Zerg's leg.Grabbing a healing draught(with less healing power than a potion),he tossed it to the man, still trying to get near to his "brothers". "A gift from your brothers,Zerg."Deception was the only way to get that man to do anything, apparently because he drank eagerly. Now Ekellstreep had to do more to stop the elves. He found that, much to his joy,he had enough favor with the God of Death to kill another elf,so he opened his mind, ignoring the "pat pat pat" of arrows lodging themselves in him. When he opened his eyes,an elf abruptly leaned on his friends, and dropped to ground, dead. Come on Klan,if I kill them all you'll hate me for sure.Just make sure you finish them though,Ekellstreep's running out of favor,he didn't get a chance to pray after the test. so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! June 25, 200818 yr (The one that lives in the Ice Mountain north of Falador.) The winds blew blisteringly cold high above the lands of Gielinor, where Langz and Brayen stood, snow swirling about them, almost obscuring their vision. Through the white haze, Langz saw the flicker of a torch that some strange magic kept burning. He pointed a hand, not wasting words that he knew would be carried away by the wind as soon as he uttered them. When they reached the flame, the unusually harsh weather died down to almost a cool breeze, and Langz looked at Brayen, thinking it of his doing. "No, my friend, this is my work. Can't have my pilgrims freezing to death, can I?" A voice, older than time itself, floated out of the air, startling Langz and making him reach for his mace. "Oracle, is that you? Where are you speaking from? Stop this trickery!" His voice went from curiosity to barely controlled anger in a matter of moments, and he needed to close his eyes, feeling the rage drift away from him, leaving him cold and ashamed. "Here." Appearing in front of them was a small trapdoor, which had faded into view like a hole being rubbed into frosted-over glass to see better from. It was stained with fresh blood. It could be a trap. Will you go down and risk it? (That's a choice thing, like the Rocks or Colosseum in the beginning test, if I'm allowed to.) sleep like dead men wake up like dead men
June 25, 200818 yr Author Do whatever...but you yourself have to decide if you go down...I am just throwing in the story and giving you guys stuff to do...you execute it howver you like as long as you don't stray to far from the story.
June 25, 200818 yr "After you," Brayen spoke silently, when they looked at the door. Langz nodded and opened the door up, his mace held beside his head. He motioned for Brayen to follow closely, and he nodded. Brayen looked around once more for any signs of the other one; Hawks. (You know, I just thought about it. Hawks and Blue Jays are both birds! All we need is Langz to become a bird's name  ) There was no sign of him. With that, both of them slowly climbed down the ladder in the trapdoor. It was very greasy, and seemed to go on and on, into the darkness. HomerSPC's Lets Plays : : Minecraft, Portal, Halo and more!
June 26, 200818 yr (I'll get right on to discovering a bird and naming it after my counterpart) Langz stepped off the ladder and moved aside for Brayen to come down, wiping his greasy hands on the legs of his pants. He gasped. This room must hollow out the entire mountain! It was amazing that it had not collapsed in on itself with the constant pounding of adventurer's feet it had had to have endured over the millenia. He heard Brayen dismount and utter a small laugh of surprise. "Amazing, isn't it?" He asked him, gesturing around the cavern. In the corners of the room, treasure glittered faintly from the light of a small oil lantern in the middle of the room. "Begone... from here." A weak voice echoed throughout the cavern, making it impossible to decipher were it was coming from. A match flared behind them, and they both spun. The faint glitter shed light on two figures. One, a giant man clad in [bleep]ed black armour, the eyesockets of his helmet glowing with the anger of banked fires. The other, chained to the wall, the Oracle, bleeding profusely from a gaping wound in his side. The armour-clad man uttered a soft, evil laugh, and pushed the match into an oil lamp, igniting it and showing the room in greater detail. There were huge stalactites hanging from the ceiling above there heads, and large stalactites dotted the ground here and there, making Langz think it was lucky they hadn't stumbled into one. "It seems the cavalry has arrived. But you are too late, and your fate will end up the same as the one you are trying seek. I hav eall I need from this man who speaks in naught but cryptic riddles, and I need to stretch my sword hand. Your heads will be a good trophy for my mantelpiece," the man spoke, and Brayen realized this was the voice they heard above-ground, just before they entered this place of death. He motioned to warn Langz, but Langz, furious at the torture of his former teacher, had lunged forward, mace swinging. His mace met the Knight's smoke-darkened sword with a clang! that made the stalactites shake. He brung his mace back, feinting as if to swing from the opposite side, but reversed this with great strength at the last moment, smashing hard into the evil man's side. There was a small cough as the Knight's air was driven from his body, but his armour was barely scratched. It was strongly made indeed. The Knight planted a booted foot into the centre of Langz's chest and sent him staggering backwards. He then drove his sword into the ground, driving up a column of rocky spires which slammed into Langz's comparatively weak proofing and sent him flying back into a pile of jewels that the Oracle had hoarded over the years. Langz stared at the slowly advancing figure muzzily, hoping for Brayen to intervene. (Looks like Ratchet is trying for a 'Brains, not brawn' approach in his fights so far, so use the environment to your advantage, Brayen. The Knight's armour is almost impenetrable... almost.) sleep like dead men wake up like dead men
