It's mainly because he's got loads of evil charisma, then turns good in the end; what's more, it's not some badly worked out, "and then he suddenly turned good" style good-turning, like I expect from Voldemort in the last Harry Potter book*.

Yoda cuz hey who wouldn't want to be a little green guy that can do impossible things and always says stuff backwards. Ex (not actually from the movies, i think) "Careful we must be, to succeed we must".

Sebulba! I don't know how many of you remember him, but he was in Episode 1, and in the N64 podracer game. As Watto said: "Sebulba, he always weens!!"

Darth Vader, for the reason Pete already gave, and of course he's the most interesting character in the movies, IMHO.

Mace Windu. 100% Badass. He won't take [cabbage] from anybody. Just look at that face while he's fighting.

I mean he can fly, navigate fighters, break into most computer systems, fight of a droid his sise while being stationary whit only 1 free arm, burn 2 droids twice his sise to crisps, he always seems to be able to make a fool out of 3cpo, Always stays in 1 piece (no other mentionable droid nor many jedi's manage to do that) and stays perfecly cool under all of it.

I have a question, is Boba Fett supposed to be some republican clone commando? Just by looking at his helmet, it looks like he use to be some republican soldier who became a bounty hunter when he became obsolete to the empire.

In episode II it explains it quite nicely. Jango Fett is a bounty hunter who, due to his militaristic nature and abilities to destroy, is cloned to create an army. He does it for a large amount of money, plus an unaltered clone to call his son. Thus, Boba Fett is born(err...hatched). Boba becomes a bounty hunter after his fathers death, and is the bounty hunter that brings Han Solo back to Tatooine in episode IV.

R2D2 is the coolest robot ever, he's funny without talking, kinda like Mr. Bean! :D

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And he's cool besides being funny, too. Remember him throwin the lightsaber to Luke in Return of the Jedi? (or maybe it was in The Empire Strikes Back) And just in general, he knows exactly what to do.

Well I havent seen anyone mention this guy yet but he was pretty kool in EP1....Darth Maul. He seemed to be real evil and it was awesome when he pulled out the 2sided lightsabre.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Another would for sure be yoda. I mean he is over 700 years old, yet when he fights he spends prolly 90% of the time in the air pullin off insance breakdance-esque moves. Yoda owns. :P
