sibmaster
I love this series. When i first got jak and daxter precurser legacy i loved it. Then when i saw that they were releasing jak 2: renegade i was unsure about introducing guns to the game, but it turned out to be an endless game of non-stop action. Then jak 3 came out and i didnt buy it straight the way, but when i did i found it the best one of the series, the storyline was the best one ever! the animiation was amazing and when jak finds out who he really was i was like "OMG". (Don't want to spoil it in case anyone reads this before completeing it : ). Even after you completed it, you could just go on a rampage in the desert and unlock all the vehicles and for me it gave me hours of awesome fun. It truly is an awesome series, jak X was an awesome racing game but wasn't too good, i was a bit disappointed with it. But ye, a truly awesome series and i hope they release a jak 4 at some point in the future. At the moment there are fake pictures on the internet of "Jak 4" but they are easily recognised from proffessionally made pictures. ~ Sibmaster Smashing Pumpkins Fan? Bluejayfan94
I heard they are coming out with Jak 5, no Jak 4. sibmaster
I heard they are coming out with Jak 5, no Jak 4. I suppose that Jak X could be counted as jak 4, seen as it was made after jak 3. (Even though Jak X actually would stand for Jak 10 : ) Smashing Pumpkins Fan? speedofsound
Completley true. I've played the entire series and I loved it. Kid's game? Hardly. It has great gameplay and a good story. Jak 1&2 were pretty good. However, in my opinion Jak 3 was the best. The final boss fight was epic. You can't ever find a place that's nice and peaceful, because there isn't any. You may think there is, but once you get there, when you're not looking, somebody'll sneak up and write "(bleep) you" right under your nose. Try it sometime. I think, even, if I ever die, and they stick me in a cemetery, and I have a tombstone and all, it'll say "Holden Caulfield" on it, and then what year I was born and what year I died, and then right under that it'll say "(bleep) you." Dax
As you can see from my name, I love this series. Second best to the original Crash Bandicoot. (Got really bad after it went PS2) #KERR2016/17/18/19/20/21. #rpgformod
krisc6
It got too convoluted and complex after the first having all these weapons and all this jargon to tell the story.Thats why i prefer ratchet and clank by a mile,
sibmaster
It got too convoluted and complex after the first having all these weapons and all this jargon to tell the story.Thats why i prefer ratchet and clank by a mile, The second one was very "gun" involved and was rotated by the fact that jak was now old enough to be able to be a "real man" and could wield a gun. (Please note, im not saying you are only a "real man" if you own a gun lmao). But the third game was mainly orientated around jak's life and who he really is and saving haven city. As i said before though, the second one was just orientated around all this new technology that jak had become involved with. Smashing Pumpkins Fan? I should probably take back my comment about technical jargon because R&C does have a lot.Yeah i liked the first jak and daxter but after it was less and less platforming and more and more awkward difficult shooting, i didnt get engaged with the story either when it expects you to know about things in the story from reading the lore on the website.Im glad they released uncharted rather than a next gen jak and daxter because the games were starting to jump the shark with a racing game...lol wut? sibmaster
Personally i think the racing game let the series down. It lacked the gameplay all the other games had. Smashing Pumpkins Fan? Necrobean
I'm actually very good in it, when I'm bored I finish Jak 3 just for the heck of it in a couple of hours  ! I loved 'em all. And to the person that found the weapons complex. 4 weapons? RATCHED AND CLANK HAS DOZENS. ;>

Ratchet and clanks are all unique and differant, anyway the way you use those weapons, the clunky shooting mechanics of jak makes the gunplay at times unplayable. Other than that i dont like how they blatantly reused previous stages and made you repeatedly go through them, i think a little more variety in the world other than corrupt cyber city i think is what Jak needs. Agunimon979
I like how Jak is more dark and inter-city dystopia-like, unlike Ratchet and Clank which is more childish and lighthearted. Also, the storyline for Ratchet is confusing.

Wow desert...I really want them to bring the series back to its roots, no more of this anime dark devil crazy jak phase and more platforming and the querky chemistry between the pair.
