July 6, 200817 yr Well, since the new graphical update, which was great i might add (for people who can use it), i have been wondering how many people actually use the full screen, high detail version? Personally, i'd be impressed if jagex came out with a full screen low detail version, which you can window  Personally, i think full screen is a waste of time. Full screen means you cant multi task, i lag alot more and this game is less enjoyable. So i use "safe mode" on low detail, for me, the game runs much smoother. So what do you use? Please post why or why not
July 6, 200817 yr i check tipit when i log on and then click on the full screen icon if there's nothing interesting. : Might be a sin not to be on full screen, it's that good. Thanks to all those who have messaged me concerning a revamp of my Range-Slayer guide. Because of you all I will start rewriting it asap.[/color] Formerly RobinHoodie.
July 6, 200817 yr I use the high detail version because it runs fine, but i will rarely use the fullscreen as it goes against rhe reason i chose rs over other mmo's, multitasking. I like to be able to be on msn, irc etc while on runescape, with fullscreen you can't so its a no no for me, but high detail is fine. Want to be my friend? July 7, 200817 yr I always use HD, i love it But i only use the Fullscreen when im not doing something irl, i like to watch tv while playing and Fullscreen is kinda weird, i cant actually train with it. The inventory is to small to train #-o Proud owner of a Questcape
July 7, 200817 yr I use high detail and but only fs when doing fight caves or combat. I like to multi-task so i don't do fs much. 99 Hunter - November 1st, 200899 Cooking -July 22nd, 200999 Firemaking - July 29th, 201099 Fletching - December 30th, 2010
July 7, 200817 yr I use high detail all the time (no lag at all, I can run fullscreen in world 2 without incident), but only use fullscreen some of the time. If I'm multitasking, I obviously don't, and also when I'm doing something where I need to be on top of things like fighting mithril dragons or bosses. The latter will go away as I get used to the interface, but I'm not quite quick enough at finding the prayer and inventory menus yet for my liking; I don't want to get killed by a mith while I'm trying to get to my inventory for a shark. Full screen on a wide screen monitor is absolutely beautiful though, and the extra area you can view is invaluable for places where you need it like Fist of Guthix. July 8, 200817 yr if i'm on my desktop: HIGH DETAIL FTW. and often, FULLSCREEEEN FTW. (no lags whatsoever. i love it latest java, and best graphics card :D ) if i'm on my lappy: LOW DETAIL SAFE MODE FTW. (err... yeah. self explanatory) that's all :
July 8, 200817 yr Low Detail for everything except for maybe some fun and nothing to do once in awhile.
July 8, 200817 yr I usually go on full screen when Suzi is logged into RS too because we chat on there rather than via MSN. If I am multi tasking (msn, irc, forums) then I just stay normal. July 8, 200817 yr Depends if my computer decides to be a jerk or not. I use HD Fullscreen if I'm skilling, but if it's something like a boss fight were lagging is not an option, I use low detail. Only fear God,Know the weapons of the weak,The weakness of the hard.
