Bnaped
Who would win a fight.. Harry Potters "Dumbledore" or Star Wars' "Yoda" I cant make a decision When survival is in question, anything goes.
Astralinre
Yoda, of course. The Force is stronger than any cheap magic tricks. Besides, even if it isn't, I don't think Dumbledore could stand against a lightsaber. ;) "In so far as I am Man I am the chief of creatures. In so far as I am a man I am the chief of sinners." - G.K. Greatsilverwyrm
I was going to lock this because debates like this are so utterly insipid and lame, but, I won't.. I will say this, though.. Yoda and Dumbledore, are not only different creatures entirely, but they exist in vastly different worlds and realities. Comparing them isn't like comparing an apple to an orange. It's like comparing a Quasar to a q-tip. It just doesn't make sense.

dark_ice
I had an intelligent response planned, but I got sidetracked. Ummm...*trys to remember*... Well in Harry Potters world Dumbledore owns.. In Star Wars Yoda owns... They both have totally different styles of fighting and capabilities.... But I think Dumbledore could jus use that spell to de-wand someone...except to de-lightsaber Yoda. Then Yoda would prolly try to use the force and crush Dumbledore with a boulder or something. Therefore Yoda would be victorious :P

____
This is like Lenny and Carl, arguing in Moe's. Someone needs to make a book like the Duff Book of Records except for the internet. And on topic, I call Yoda.
devilheart14
it all depends cause dumbledor can do heaps of ownage with strikes but yoda could push them away use mind trick then take him with his light saber. but its 2 hard its not a fair fight really cause u can't choose as dumbledor could just do like fire spell things on yoda so u can't really say fairly but in close quaters aka a couple of football fields yoda with the force. Zonorhc
Dumbledore cannot cast spells if he can't speak or wave a wand. Using the Force is a faster process than casting a spell from a wand. The Force can be used to choke, disarm or pin someone's movements from a distance. Ergo, Yoda wins. adthegreat-
Yoda would own him. He'd either kill him with a light saber, use the force to knock him flying, or use the force to hit him with something, And Zonorhc, Yoda would never choke someone with the Force, for the Jedi way, it is not. Pete_the_Viscous
Both of them are, in a way, Gandalf clones (and he was a merlin clone, I suppose*). They are all the infinitely wise, infinitely powerful characters in their respective areas; A) it's not fair to compare them, like Greatsilverwyrm said, and B) I don't think they'd fight, as they're on the same side, effectively (i.e. the good guys). (In case you didn't get this from paragraph one, I think it would be a draw; sure, Yoda has uberForce powers--Dumbledore has magic of = power. It's like saying "who would win, yin or yang", "who would win, god A or god B".) *and so on. deviantart account
Bubsa
Yoda. The post is ridiculous, the concept is hardly feesible, but I still pick Yoda anyday. Not only does he have superior fighting abilities, I cannot stand anything or anyone that has the slightest contact with Harry Potter. This is how much you all raised for charity. Thank you. Faux
Tbh, if everything has turned upside down, I'd rather be a Wizard than a jedi. I mean c'mon! You can make flash animations on paper oO :: Guess the Movie Contest Champion: pfilc23 ::
99Diablo99
I would pick Yoda, he must more cooler then that gandalf. no questions ask that im sure gandalf could own Yoda but my choice is with Yoda. Yoda 4 da WIN !!

Hannibal
I think someone who doesn't fear death, and is the greatest wizard of all time, would easily beat a 3-foot tall wrinkly green monster who can't speak proper English. That, and my hatred of Star Wars means I'm going for Dumbledore :). That being said, as Wyrm and several others pointed out, comparing apples and oranges usually doesn't work well. Punc
Well, Dumbledore would cast this immense spell, Yoda would mind block it, pull out his lightsaber and become a hyperactive monkey twirling around Dumbledore and finally chopping him in half. So it woul be Yoda, without really much contest...
