woopidoo2
After a time of not using my macro lens, I took it outside to do something with it again. I walked to a bush in my garden which usually has some insects on it, but this time there were lots of these flies and some wasps on it. I dont know why but there were alot of them, maybe they were gathering water after the rain or something. [hide=Photo][/hide] [hide=Second photo][/hide] [hide=Third Photo][/hide] This photo could also be used as a wallpaper, I'm using it right now (which I dont do that often, own photos as wallpaper) 1200x800 1900x1280 (dont know the exact numbers, Im sure it will fit on your screen.) Comments/Favs/CC/ all welcome. [http://woopidoo2.deviantart.com][Tip.it Moderator from Dec 10, 2006 to 03 Sep, 2008]
dragoonson
I didn't dare click the bigger pictures, but the right side of the normal one is kind of like paint-fill to me...Unless is that what a macro does?Seriously I don't have a special lens so i herd u liek devarts? If you look at me and feel offended by my 666-ism,think.I could be just as offended by your "cross".[hide=This's why I'm hot]The Eleventh Commandment:Thou Shalst only say "Amen, brother".Amen, brother :lol:Amen, brudda (referring to the 10th commandment)amen Bruder! Sam
Looks really good, although I would say the blur seems a bit weird IMO. Keep on Photographing ;) 2257AD.TUMBLR.COM
woopidoo2
Thanks alot everyone. :) Looks really good, although I would say the blur seems a bit weird IMO. Keep on Photographing ;) I got the blur because 1) the plants were quite far away (1 meter or so) and 2) I used f5, which gave me a shallow depth of field just to get the fly sharp. I like the blur alot personally, that way the fly really stands out. I wont stop photographing, dont worry :) [http://woopidoo2.deviantart.com][Tip.it Moderator from Dec 10, 2006 to 03 Sep, 2008]

woopidoo2
Thanks again. What you call those "eyes"? 'Facets' I believe :-k Added another one, a sunset. I cycled like a mad man to find a spot that was good enough, the sunset was already fading. Taken on a bridge. This was after a day of rain, one of those gray, boring days that we've had for the last couple of weeks.
