April 25, 200917 yr Try out Lo-fi Scorpio. They are a really good but not too well known Industrial band from Michigan in the 90's. The drum work is particularly good, and you can legally download their discography here. I recommend starting with Noir.

If you haven't taken a look into Steven Wilson's side projects yet, I recommend Blackfield. Modern rock with art rock influences. It's quite melancholic and sobering compared to Porcupine Tree who rely on metal hooks and cryptic lyrics. May 13, 200917 yr I wouldn't really classify Everclear as indie rock, however, I am a huge fan of The Shins. Check out my Last.FM in sig for some band recommendations. My list is small because I had to make a new account last month though. =/ Some bands everyone should check out are: The Smiths, Beck, 311, Lilys, Rogue Wave, Animal Collective, The Shins, The Decemberists, Death Cab for Cutie, The Postal Service, Elliott Smith...there are so many more, but just check out my Last.FM for some good indie recommends. Oh yeah, I LOOOVE Modest Mouse, the problem with my Last.FM is that it doesn't get the plays I get on my iPod when I am on the go because I manually load the songs on to my iPod.... Also, love the sig, Rage Against the Machine are amazing. Did you ever check out Tom Morellos solo stuff as the Nigh[bleep]chmen I think he is called? Also, Zack De La Rocha did his own thing too which I really enjoyed, I think his new duo band is called One Day as a Lion. Check them both out, you might like them. Personally, I like Zack's thing more but that is just me. What is your fav Rage album? Mine would have to be Evil Empire. Last.FM!
