A brief overview of what's in the link though:

 

 

 

The "Underground Farm" was an invention of Fook A Ji in order to scam cut gems from people. He told them that fi they used a cut gem on a tree in Lumbridge Swamp then they would be taken to the farm. When it didn't work he asked them for their gem so he could try it. The rumour did, however, inspire the idea for the Lost City quest by Paul Gower.
