Gotta remember though little kids play this game. Jagex doesn't know who you are, for all they know you could be some sexual predator. But it was just one hour, no big deal. And yeah I've seen other peoples post and such and Jagex customer support blows. -.-

I got an offence for soemthing just like that the other week too. and I got it removed. In my appeal I basically flipped out and told Jagex customer support they stink (used other wording lol) and that they should rot in well you know where. three hrs later.... appeal successful.

i am willing to bet that it is the last line of that conversation that got you in trouble. there are a lot of people in the game who take a very strict view of the first rule and that would fall into the line of offensive conversation for a lot of people that i know in the game (including me).

 

 

 

that said, i don't think that this is worth being muted for a day. maybe a warning and a black mark but being muted is going a little far for this situation.

it happens i got muted for spamming "Wat" about 10 times but hey! some people find "wat" offensive, id hate to have a conversation with someone that reports for no reason because thats a strike against my account now.. well enjoy your mute just like im really sinking my teeth into my 14 day mute i play will all chats off so yeah im rarely gonna talk in public chat anymore once mute is off also, talking in other programs because theres too many wannabe mods.
