God....my first death in months and it was during a freaking clue...

 

The Chaos Elemental + Rev Knight + Slow teleports = My utter demise.

 

 

 

I can't believe it...I always hated getting a wild clue, but at least I never died with it, not to mention my rev ring. I couldn't even make it back in time to my grave, which is weird since I thought it went by slower than it was. I didn't even see a 'one minute left' in the chat box.

 

 

 

I need to bring food next time. ( i never brought it before.....)

I saw the sticky but this was more about me dying after so long a dry streak. And my loss of a clue. It just happened to be from a rev at the last millisecond of my teleport....so I tele'd to lvl 14 wild and died there....But didn't make it back in time

 

 

 

He was just doing his job.....killing the living :twss:

I died twice during a quest today. Didn't losing anything but some pots, food, and my patience.

Well...to get my mind off of this, I think I'll go do something fun.

I rarely die, but when I do I lose a lot. It sucks and for a few hours you're convinced you're going to quit, I've even gone as far in the past as cancelling my membership just so I can put the "Because I lost items" as the reason.

 

 

 

I always come back to normal ground though.

I hate dieing with clues as much as you do! Now that wilderness pking has been gone... for a while, you could bring a friend to help fend off those revenant and that pain in the [rear] chaos elemental. Good luck next time you have a wildy clue! :)

I have heard but can't confirm since I haven't tried it myself, that the wolf from the beginning of summoning will howl off any Revs. You would need the scroll to do the special attack I think.

Lapitcka, this is true, the wolf will not make them go away completey. but will fend them off for a few seconds...but a few seconds is sometimes all you need to make your daring get away.....blasted revs #-o

I know your pain. Dieing really sucks. One time I lagged and died, I lost a full set of rune, scimmy and about 15 lobsters. Stupid f2p bounty hunter with three level 90's piling me...

the good thing is you learnt your mistakes, follwed rants rules and flaming didnt happen. i give you a high-five for that. :

Yeah, it sucks. Definitely bring food. And, I dont see how you couldnt make it back. I was in 50 wildy where the gate between member and non, and I made it back.

This almost happened to me, I went to the rogues castle, got absolutly mashed up by the chaos elemental... Went to mage bank, came out... rev were wolf, killed it, re stock and such... did the clue got another clue, then I spent 5 minutes battling with a rev ork, until I teled it using those wildy teles and then I slowly walked back...

Hmmm, running through the wildy. HIDE IT'S A YELLOW DOT ON THE MAP, oh wait, it's just a mugger, hey, look there's two yellow dots. Two muggers? OH NO IT'S A REVENANT ORK.

Most posts like this I see I would flame them to death, but you used good grammar and didn't blame Jagex or the revenants but yourself. Anyways, now if you go into the wilderness you must bring food, because those revs are so much stronger than pker's.
