Most shots are what like 2oz? Unless you were taking shots of beer, 20 in 30 minutes is lethal for small folk (provided it was shots of ever clear). Guess you're not small folk. Granted, I've also seen people chug bottles of Jack in under 2 minutes. Pretty sure they got hospitalized, but tomato tomato.

 

Depends, if we're talking 1oz shots of 35% rum, I could easily see a bigger guy surviving that. I've done a whole mickey (13oz) in under an hour without passing out or vomiting, and that was 46% rum. It was actually a really strange experience, I felt super drunk for about an hour and a half, then I sobered up and couldn't get drunk again for the rest of the night.

It ain't Monday yet.

Spent the weekend caring for my son who had a fever of 102. Poor little guy, you never saw a kid so miserable. :( Fortunately there was no vomiting, just lots of YouTube, napping on the couch and a literal gallon of juice consumed. Seriously, he drank nearly 4L of the stuff (which for our non-metric friends converts to a gallon  ;)). Hopefully he feels better tomorrow.

I consumed a gallon of sangria yesterday. That's 4L for all you metric folk. No vomiting, just lots of laying on the couch and YouTube. ;)

I also drank a lot of Sangria yesterday, the weather is beautiful. Sat at a bar and had some nachos, was sweet.

Came back, played Ring of Fire also known out here as King's Cup. Same rules, I really enjoyed being Question Master for a good chunk of the game.

 

Going home in exactly two weeks. Pretty happy about it, but will probably leave Canada on a high which is good too.

Looking for summer work now and slowly studying for my final two exams.

 

This might well be my longest summer in the entirety of my educational history. I won't start my final year of University until October and I normally finish University around early June. At high school this would be July and at the end of high school this would be by the middle of June.

Finally done with classes for my undergrad as of today, just one exam and a short paper away from salvation~

 

Had a pretty good day though, my friend's band played this free outdoor benefit show so some of my other friends got some carryout from Piada and checked that out and got ice cream after. It was the first 80 degree day of the year here in Michigan so it was awesome getting to spend a good deal of it outside.

 

After all that studying for this machine learning final is going to be straight-up dreadful though ;_________;

Kings is great because the house rules can change the game dramatically. Competitive ace waterfalls get nuts.

Today while working on a pump a full-sized F250 quad cab powerstroke diesel pulled up to the other side and out jumped the tiniest, most petite blonde you ever saw and in the softest, sweetest voice you ever heard proceeded to curse a blue streak that would make a sailor blush when she saw the pump wasn't working.

 

I...I think I'm in love.

Said goodbye to one of my best friends here yesterday. I'll miss him a lot, he's from a city called Hangzhou in China and I keep forgetting that he can't access Facebook or Gmail from China so I've written down his Chinese assigned email which is a little weird looking but I hope he gets the video I'm going to send him of all our memories.

 

It's a little project I've been working on, partially why I've come back to the Niagara Falls to capture some footage for my video and also because nature is just amazing.

So the goodbyes have begun and my German roomie leaves tomorrow afternoon - he wasn't around when I came to say goodbye so that's another person who's just vanished into thin air.

 

One week left from Monday, going to be a very quiet week with my last two exams followed by a Lord of the Rings marathon and laser quest. I think that's it for my plans in the great white north.
