What level do you think you will have to have? I am betting on 60, but what are your ideas?

Nobody knows, and since all there is is speculation, this probably belongs in the General forum. That said, I'm sure Jagex will disappoint me and put the requirement at something ridiculously low like 45.

All I know is that if it makes RuneCrafting ridiculously easy, even at low levels, I'll be pissed. RuneCrafting is supposed to be one of the tougher skills, not like thieving or something along those lines.

You have 48 RC'ing.... It is tough, ZMI is not what you make it out to be.

I predict that it will be something like 50, since Rune Crafting is not such a popular skill. I bet you the day it comes out however, that Rune Crafting will finally get a Millionth rank.

From what I know, Jagex always ruins surprises. Example: new bank. So don't expect it to be free runes lying in ground. It might ends up to have the same use as the crafting one.. or even the cooking..

I think they are gonna put it like 40 to make more people do the skill :S. Probs have a rune ess mine teleporter, not sure about a bank, some way of getting tallys possibly or maybe a special type of alter. Deffinetly memberser ( :( ). Not sure where they will put it though. Possible near yanville (magic guild)

Well it is a guild, but at the same time the Behind The Scenes implied that it will have the new mini-game there as well. We all know that a majority of the mini-games have low requirements as it is. 40 for Pest Control, I've seen level 3's in Castle wars, and I don't think Vinesweeper really has any either. So to be "fair" to all the players, I think it will be a pretty low level requirement. And sadly, I think this guild will also be f2p. =/

Why would they make a guild to have more people runecraft? It's the players choice as to what skills they train, I highly doubt it's in JaGeX's agenda to make people want to runecraft. It's just a guild players may have been wanting. I don't know the numbers nor am I sure I'm 100% correct on this, but I do think that there was a poll asking about guilds in the past, this just may have been a choice as well as for a new mini-game.

 

 

 

40 is a good guesstimate, but not because it makes people train the skill.

 

 

 

If anything I hope the only prices it effects will be Essence. I've been RuneCrafting lately for cash so I'll be a little upset if it lowered rune prices as well. The reason for this speculation? Vinesweeper is a farming minigame with seeds for possible rewards. RC minigame might have possible rune rewards? :ohnoes:

Well the more people that do it it sorta become balenced and makes jagex feel they havn't wasted there time on quite a difficult to level skill that doesn't have that many benifits in some peoples eyes

First off, Zmi maxes around 35k xp an hour. Wow, that's ridiculously easy [/sarcasm].

 

 

 

If runecrafting is made easy, death and law prices will rise while nat prices will drop. People will just do a minigame to 91 and then double nats.

i dont care about the guild i want natures to actually have a use, ever since bh no wild and ge nats have crashed and burned, i remember rcing last summer and half the people who bought my nats were pures, now most of them have quit.. nats over past few months have been dreadful.. 241 gp now, i started rcing again at the start of the week they were 245.. now 241 its getting rediculous essence is like 151 now, so if you want to make money sure rcing is still good but if your not 91 already you may aswell give up.

 

 

 

I can see one day people saying, you can break even if you make natures on the essence, its getting to that stage.

There will be the mini game, a shop to buy talismans(exept Death and Blood) or pickaxes,

 

And a possible teleport to rune essence mine in the 2nd floor, and a bank in 1st floor.

Like mage guild, the rune prices are high, you can buy armor, teleport to rune essence mine(this make me think theres not gonna be teleport to rune essence mine on rcing guild).

I'm guessing on 50 or lower, or else rant are going to be clogging up the forums. But i'm hoping of 60+ too.

^Rants are already clogging up the forums. If I wanted to be unbiased, I'd say it should be 54 (entry level for laws) or 59 (double cosmics), or something similar. In other words, an entry point for one or multiple of a higher rune.

I hope it won't be any pathetic requirement. If it were up to me you'd need 65 or even 70 RC to get in.

 

If you look carefully at the highscores you'll notice that many, and I mean many players only train their RC up to 30 so it would show up on the highscores.

 

You want access to the RC guild, you'll have to work for it for countless mind numbing hours like the rest of us did.

zmi? easy? I think not even using the zmi altar rc is still one of the hardest if not hardest stat to lvl in game. not only because of the slow xp but the whole time u train it u have to be clicking/running/banking. it's very difficult. I'm 71 and it took me quite some time. I'm hoping rc guild will be made for higher lvl rcers. like 70 or 75. if they make it lower than that then the bennefit of the guild is too widespread and the great money making skill will be shrunk. meaning rune prices will go down and ess prices will go up. I'm hoping it's a helpful guild to those who actually lvl there rc. and not just another bs guild like range or cooking. 70 is a good lvl.

Between 30-50 to get in no matter where it is. They are adding this because of pure essence prices through the roof, so maybe pure essence will go back to f2p.
