I was just trying to alch at ge and these idiots started saying mean racist coments.

 

 

 

 

 

 

I am tolerent of some racism, but this is madness. I had another pic of what they were saying, but I felt it was just too horific towards a different group of people.

 

 

 

 

 

This is why I oppose PVP anywhere. It brings these bastards into the game.

There was this screenshot once with a train of guys all in white following some guy and they were saying something like join the kool kids klub. Also I've seen some guy make a swastika with burnt sharks by dropping them and if you looked at the minimap you could see the red dots forming the cross... So this isn't the first time they go to far but yeah, but this is indeed very offensive.

Its sad that people actually believe that a race of people is lower then another, and it sickens me when people say things like that in a game, designed mainly for children/teenagers. I am sorry to say that they were probly also young, with no knowlege of the world, and if your growing up with that attitude, it says something about your parents tbh.

 

 

 

Also if thats not an insta ban i dont know what is. Tbh that should be an IP ban for ever.

I wasn't saying that that was the case in the picture, i was merely stating. But none the less its still unacceptable, and to be honest im going to be very stereotypical here but they are probably chavs -.- im sorry i hate them with a passion, unless they are some of the few that are actually nice. But really tbh whoever says it doesnt make it any more acceptable so it doesn't matter who says it really, it shouldn't be said at all.

It is a shame that this goes on but grow some skin. It is totally wrong and they should definitely be muted/banned for it but I don't know what people expect when they go somewhere where there is total anonymity and people can do whatever they want without consequence (getting your account banned isn't a big consequence).

Umm, you can get a lot more racist than what is written in that pic, granted you're not some kiddie that flips into moral crusade mode every time you see something someone somewhere will find offensive. The world isn't set in a with us or against us mood. Just because I don't 100% agree with what the OP said, doesn't mean i'm some racist bigot who wants Nazi KKK members to rule the world. Reporting and ignoring these players was the best thing to do, not making a redundant thread on an issue that's been talked to death (The concept of "I don't like it, I should ignore and/or report them"), that were it to be seen by the players who did this would only encourage them to sit in the grand exchange and do it more.

Racism has not gone too far. It's like saying everyone in runescape scams people because one person does. In almost 5 years of playing actively now, I have only seen racism once. In fact, I can guarantee that is not true racism. Racism is only real when people mean it, and those people were just trying to offend people, and I guarantee in real life they don't think like that.

 

 

 

I personally find racial stereotypes funny, often, as I know the people don't mean them 99% of the time.

 

The people should be muted/banned, but this does not mean racism has gone too far.
