Well, I saw this movie today. It was all right, but I found that I could not get into the stupid story, and I just wished Anakin would turn to the darkside and kill that damn apprentice. Also, Anakin got his scar from Asajj Ventress before he killed her, yet she is alive in this movie, and he has the scar. Apparently the movie disregards the clone wars cartoon.

 

 

 

Otherwise, the action scenes were amazing. The vertical fight scene was really neat, some of the comedy parts made me laugh a bit, while some of it was stale, and I liked that the clones had character and were not just plain boring soldiers.

I had high hopes for it. I planned on seeing it, but it took a lot for me to decide to skip it out. Everywhere I've heard it's just terrible.

Heard it was horrible, like 18% on RottonTomatoes.

It was not at all what I was hoping it would be...

If it isn't a proper movie, it isn't worth viewing in my view. It just looks like an attempt to get Star Wars back out again to receive further profits. I think from here on, Star Wars has simply been done. No need to make any more. I'm a fan, but I think enough is enough. :P

I disagree with that. George Lucas created a universe with limitless story possibilities. There are plenty of great books before and after the 6 movies that could be made into shows or movies. The recent anime episodes are a great example of this. In the right hands, Star Wars can really be expanded in different directions for years to come.

I was planning on going to see this tomorrow with a hardcore Star Wars junkie. He told me he doesnt want to see it so instead were going to see Death Race. (Im in the mood for mindless violence)

To each his own, but I will say this. The books make for an interesting read, especially the clone wars era, and the yuzzanvong story arc.

Okay movie, nice little Saturday cartoon, didn't deserve a theatrical release.

 

 

 

And Asajj Ventress didn't die in the Clone wars microsaga. She survived the fall, she's in several comics too.
