Omali
Don't worry, if I see you in GE with a summon I will report you like I have others. Since I can't get my bird that drops herbs in there will I'm working on herblore, why should your bug abusing behind be able to do it carefree? P.S. I appreciate your help in leveling up to a ban for abusing customer support. \ Fixed.

Anyway, if you can do as little with the GE thing as people have been saying, of course it isn't bannable. It will get fixed in its own time, and it's no worse than doing the BH skull glitch or turning into an egg while you homeport to become an egg reading. I mean come on guys, it's not like he's duping phats. Some games do not mix...
meili
Maybe the people who reported don't know that the summons don't give you advantages. After all, a bug abuser would be dumb to just admit he is bug abusing like mad. The Runescape Wilderness - Meili's Blog
jirenma2001us
What I don't understand is if there is still a bug (GE summon bug), why doesn't Jagex just fix it? Of course it is a minor bug, but just fix it and there will be no more confusion. It might not be a high priority, but it's one less bug for the average scaper to test out and get away with. This game has seen a fair share of abuse anyway. If they know about it that is. They're supposed to know about it. If you do [enter bug here] kind of bug, you're supposed to submit it to customer service under the help tab "Submit a Bug Report". Do this and poof! soon the bug will be gone. jirenma2001us
I just want to reiterate- "unabuseable bugs"? I'm gonna quote Jagex here- "You must not use or attempt to use any cheats or errors which you find in our software. Any exploits which you find must be immediately reported to Jagex through Customer support" It goes on... "As long as you report the bug to us straight away, don't tell anyone else until we fix it, and don't use the bug any more, then you WON'T get in trouble. Indeed, we will be very reateful. If you don't tell us, or deliberately use it again and again, then you would be breaking the rule. Jagex does not use the world "unabuseable". They clearly state any exploits. This throws the neutrality argument out the window. A bug is a bug. I don't think Jagex differentiates those bugs that offer benefits and those bugs which don't. If they did, they probably wouldn't ban people who did this particular bug exploit. They decide, players just report. Now, lets say you see the bug, and you can perform the bug. That means you must go here: http://bugtracker-v4.runescape.com/index.html My understanding is that all forms of bug exploitation leads to trouble. If you can execute a bug, it's your obligation to report the bug on the bug report page (mentioned above). Failing to do so equivalent to practicing your ability to exploit the Runescape software. This is how people uncover MORE bugs and exploit the game.
Patr1ck
I've been doing that for quite awhile now and have not gotten banned, and I doubt you could get banned because once you move your familiar dies...although I have stopped after reading this thread, I think it would be safe just to not do it, you don't want to test the system and fail.
