Wow that honky quarterback sucks. It made me smile when he got pummeled on the Int touchdown. I still love THE Ohio State University (Unlike Mlbfan who likes the best teams in every sport :| :roll: ) but it still made me smile. Kind of like at our high school football games when our quarterback gets smacked I laugh and everybody thinks I'm an [wagon].

I don't want to take anything away from USC's performance last night because they definitely were the better team. Even if Ohio State has Wells and the entire team played 100%, the Buckeyes couldn't have won that game.

 

 

 

Now that is out of the way, OSU really needs to look at the way they are coached and the way they play. I love Jim Tressel, but he plays way too conservatively in these big games. Ohio State had no gain longer than 16 yards against USC. Granted OSU's running game was severely inhibited with Wells out, but all of Ohio States passes are 5 yard dumps and they refuse to throw passes down the field.

 

 

 

What really made me angry was that Tressel won't put aside his loyalty to his seniors to win big games. Boeckman just sucks; he is slow and not agile enough to get out of the pocket, he is horrible at recognizing the blitz and the pressure around him, he can't make big plays and he ALWAYS makes 1-2 huge mistakes a game.

 

 

 

Ohio State make themselves look so much worse than they actually are. It's sad to good talent go to waste because of a coaching staff that won't adapt to change and doesn't play to win.

MLB comparing OSU and USC are diffrent than comparing the Eagles Vs Cowboys. The Cowboys are the better team on paper and at game time. Just because USC dominated OSU and their your favorite team doesn't mean that your favorite team will win all of their games.

 

 

 

Everyone is going on how the Eagles looked against a MEDIOCRE at BEST Rams team. The Cowboys are the real deal and have everything in place for a Super Bowl Title run. The Eagles have untested recievers and the Cowboys will dominate them and if they don't i'll come back here and publicly eat my shoe.

Texas is nothing special. OU is. I want to see OU vs MO and OU vs USC. OU vs. USC will probably end up being the title game. I think UGA will go down considering their SEC schedule and Florida doesn't have enough to get up there, being that they also play in the SEC. One win teams can get in there, but i can't see it happening right now. OU and USC look to good.

 

 

 

MO will be a surprise team and stay in the top 5 at the end of the year i think. I think the Big 12 title game will play against them as well as their schedule in a bid for the national title shot. It will most likely be MO vs OU in the Big 12 game.

 

 

 

I see Florida State's stock rising. They will be in the upper tiers towards the end as well if they keep playing like they are now. LSU will be there too, but i'm not sure they can compete with OU or USC right now. Alabama is overrated, they are good don't get me wrong they kicked Clemson's butt, but they will disappoint the fans hyping them up. Georgia vs Florida will be a better game then Alabama. On paper.

Okay I'll agree Texas is nothing special, but it's just a great series and it has been for the last couple of years. So I'm just hoping it will be close if not us actually winning. Texas does have a good QB. Also a lot of people believe OU is good during the beginning of the season, but they always end up losing to some 2nd or 3rd tier team or just end up losing the big game. A lot can happen so we as the fans will just sit back, relax, and watch some good football. I think Alabama is actually underrated, but we'll see once SEC play comes along. Anyways we should probably bring this discussion back to the college football thread : .
