The Observer
Now that the new clan wars updates have been released, several new arenas were included. However, there are several obstacles in different locations. How do you define middle boundaries or "bounds" in those new arenas?
Ts_Stormrage
Quarry is too small to define any bounds... Same can be said for the Blasted Forest and Plateau... The Turret one is pretty much DESIGNED to favour Rangers and Mages (yes, even on F2P) so a lot of running-while-shooting will happen anyways... Beaumonde
After the update there is an object that is the middle of the arena and also where the middle camera from the viewing orb if focused on, basically anywhere around that object where you can be seen from it. InkofDeath
The other arenas are so small that there really isn't a need for boundaries. As well the reason why dragging was formed has been completely demolished with these new arenas because they favour either piling/hugging, or different types of combat like rangers will completely dominate the Quarry and will be more than useful in the Turrets arena. Boundaries were formed because the area was a lot larger than GDZ was, and the original map itself was way too diverse in objects you could hug/pile around, AND these areas weren't integrated with each other. It was '20 trees here walk over 20 squares, and here's some rocks, and go north 15 squares here's another batch of trees'. It wasn't rocks & trees together, or non-huggable areas like the GDZ area was. However the addition of the single-way combat in the original arena does create the need to drag, but the insulting of being called ' NH ' is going to arise quickly for doing that, which will put a negative outlook on dragging into there. For those who still use the original arena boundaries are no longer needed.

lord_troyus
As stated above you can really only call middle bounds in the original clan wars arena. yup :P +2 You could define any type of bounds in any of the maps.. aslong as it was multicombat with SOME tanking obstacles. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=e_cLCibqSxk&fmt=18 -- Lord_Troyus - This is PvP
