September 19, 200817 yr One of the best game series out there, each game selling tons. Phantom Hourglass Twilight Princess The Minish Cap Four Swords Adventures The Wind Waker Oracle of Seasons/Ages Majora's Mask Ocarina of Time Link's Awakening A Link to the Past The Adventure of Link The Legend of Zelda What is your favorite game in the series? Why? What are you looking forward too in the series? What is your favorite game in the series? My favorite game in the series is Majora's Mask. Why? In my opinion, it has the best storyline and setting. The characters are quite in-depth, great miniquests, and it really makes you feel. There are tons of great moments in the game, like when you finally get that mask from Sakon, or maybe when you blow him up when he tries to mug the old lady, or what about when you save that girl's father from the curse that made him a gibdo? On the third day, it almost seems as if they were real people, their lines are well thought and full of emotion. Very memorable music, too. What are you looking forward too in the series? A sequel to Majora's Mask. Oh yeah, and I've thought of taking babies and throwing them. For funsies. - Lenticular J"Isn't it pathetic how everything in our society is built around someone screwing someone else out of their money?" - killerbeer0 on American SocietyRebdragon can't wiz a woz.
September 19, 200817 yr Orcarina of time for sure! I don't, first one I ever played and it got me hooked, so I really liked it.
September 19, 200817 yr I seem to like Wind Waker more than most, although Twilight Princess comes close to second. And it's mainly due to world size and the combat system, I like to roam and have multiple approaches to kicking [wagon] As for what I'm looking forward to? Dunno, I'd go for another along the Wind Waker timeline tho, that's always fun.
September 19, 200817 yr What is your favorite game in the series? The Wind Waker, closely followed by Ocarina of Time Why? Both of them were huge and had so many things to do outside of the main story line. There must have been about 25 islands you didn't actually need to visit on Wind Waker - exploring each of them and trying to work out the puzzle on each one was fantastic. Twilight Princess just felt like you were on a treadmill and you couldn't get off to do whatever you wanted to do. :? What are you looking forward too in the series? A sequel to Wind Waker (a proper one), hopefully one with a 10x10 map grid. | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |
September 19, 200817 yr I am not sure, but i'll make a list of what i played. do not that the majoras mask was played on an emulator, wich means i didnt bother struggling through even the first dungeon with that crappy controls. Ocarina of Time. My precious Ocarina of Time. I got it as a christmas present, the best i ever had. My first game, my best game. Funny note, when i got it there was this little side game called mario 64 at the time it thought it was just some small, insignificant game  . Twilight Princess. One of the most beautiful games i ever played, with a great feel to it. The sheer size of it is enough to make it #2. Minish Cap. It's a great game, a bit too much storyline crap, just to get a use for transforming to minish. The kinstone pieces are brilliant. i got all heart peices but two. talked to eveyone 5 times. cant find them.. Oracle of Seasons. Better than Times, and the rod is better than the stupid harp. Majoras mask. I loved the mask ideas, too crappy controls. i cant put it higher on my list though. Oracle of Time. Kill. harp. K I L L !!!11
September 19, 200817 yr What is your favorite game in the series? A Link to the Past. Majora's Mask is a close second. Why? ALttP: It has everything I like about Zelda games. A good amount of dungeons, items, and nice little secrets. The world map is also pretty big, and I love fighting the bosses. Majora's Mask: I really liked the mask system, and Stone Tower dungeon. The town was really well made, and the amount of sidequests was great. What are you looking forward too in the series? I'm not really looking forward to anything.
September 19, 200817 yr I dont actually have anything to add, I just wanted to post this because its surprisingly lol. But I suppose I could say I didnt really enjoy any Zelda game, too samey for me. Like EA with their sports games except more HEY LISTEN!
September 19, 200817 yr I'm the average OoT lover. It was the first Zelda game I had and I was one of the first people in my school to actually beat it. The main reason I liked it the most was because everyone had it so it was a very simple subject to talk about.
September 19, 200817 yr Personally I thought Twighlight Princess was an awful game, I dont understand the hype around it. It was too constricting, and the graphics were bad not because they were poorly done but because of that annoying twighlight effect.

But it probably had some of the best dungeons in the series.
September 19, 200817 yr Author twilight princess didnt really catch on with me, i beat it, ya, but i still hated it. You can't really Get into the game. Oh yeah, and I've thought of taking babies and throwing them. September 19, 200817 yr Oracle of Seasons/ Ages for me. Simply because of the soundtrack But words cannot describe how brilliant in every possible sense OoT was. Quit Runescape 30th May 2006.Thanks to Hawkxs for my signature :)
September 19, 200817 yr WIIIIIIIIIIIND WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKER Loved boatng, and the time you had to go through that massive storm for the last orb had me so scared, since you pass at least two of the huge tornadoes. catch it now so you can like it before it went so mainstream
September 19, 200817 yr Ocarina of Time is definately my favourite, and then Oracle of seasons in second. It was the first game i had for my gameboy when i was younger and i loved it :
September 19, 200817 yr What is your favorite game in the series? Both N64 ones. Too hard to pick. Why? The dungeons, story, and generally everything else. Those specifically What are you looking forward too in the series? Games that are better than the two most recent. Oracles and the N64 games were excellent. Minish Cap was too short, and Wind Waker was great. Phantom Hourglass is something to avoid altogether, and Twilight Princess would have been perfect if it was as puzzle-based as the previous 3d ones. I painted some stuff and put it on tumblr
September 19, 200817 yr Ocarina of Time for sure! First Zelda game i ever played so it will always be my favorite.
September 20, 200817 yr tie between ocarina and wind waker. both are brilliant games. wind waker adds more reply value while ocarina has an excellent gameplay.
September 20, 200817 yr I think Nintendo lost Zelda along the way, They,re just making it easier and easier. For example, i only got stuck like 3 times in TP whereas i got stuck 10+ times in oot. Anyway, what do you think of the next console zelda? I read it could possibly be first person.
September 20, 200817 yr Author what? another one? already? Oh yeah, and I've thought of taking babies and throwing them. Does help if the puzzles in each one aren't exactly the same. At least Majora's Mask had different challenges, and heaps and heaps of side-quests. The way they experimented with the time, and have every NPC doing the same thing each day was epic. I wish Nintendo would inject some creativity into Zelda again. They haven't since Wind Waker, and that five and a half years ago. -.- | Favourite Game Music | Last.fm | HYT Friend Chat Rules |
September 20, 200817 yr what? another one? already? it's been to year since release, and the probably started development right after. sometime 07-08 in an interwiew someone said that TP was the last zelda as we know it. not much else is known..

Maybe storywise or something. But during E3 Nintendo stated that the next Zelda would be more casual-gamer friendly.
September 22, 200817 yr With Minish Cap and Link's Awakening on emulator, I have now played every Zelda game except Phantom Hourglass. I don't understand why people bag on TP so much, it was a great game. It's a bit more linear than the others, but it's HUGE, so it makes up for it. The comparisons to OoT didn't spring out of nowhere. And I found it funny to see people loving WW when that one came under fire, though I really enjoyed it. As for a favorite, it's hard to choose. I'm leaning towards Oracle of Seasons for the handheld and Wind Waker for the consoles, though. Ocarina of Time just doesn't feel right for the top spot, Majora's Mask and A Link to the Past were just too ridiculously hard, Twilight Princess was annoying when you were stuck as a wolf for long periods of time, Zelda 2 was weird and next to impossible besides, and the original has simply been outdone.
September 22, 200817 yr What is your favorite game in the series? Ocarina of Time. BY FAR the best video game of all time. Why? It had the most beautiful storyline I've ever taken a character through, and it's puzzles we're difficult even to the most intelligent gamers. It still takes me around 12 hours to beat the game on a speed run (I always end up getting sidetracked with something subtle, yet fun :), and it's always fun to play it no matter what age I reach. I don't think any game can ever match it's greatness, especially for the time period it came out during. Graphics were fantastic for the N64, and I can't get over how much I loved the storyline. What are you looking forward too in the series? More complex storylines, and more and more intense battles with bosses, considering most of them in the most recent game were quite easy to manage.
