So I'm in an FoG game and I'm up against a level 108 (I'm level 96). So I think, "What the hell, might as well go for it." It's really close, and in the end he thought he had won, but I ended up winning by about 50 charges or so. So he calls me a [Removed] , and then proceeds to spew a racist remark (how does he even know what colour I am). I proceeded to report him and even told him that I had done so, to which he responds, "Go ahead and report me. You tried ****. Too bad I didn't say anything reportable for you to report me." And then he proceeds to off private chat. I would post a screenshot but I don't know whether it's against the rules or not.

 

 

 

Comments? Similar experiences? Anything? I really hope Jagex takes some action. If there's anything more I can do to get this guy banned I would gladly do it.

On Topic: Some players are just immature like that. You did the right thing in reporting him, but your should have added him to ignore and/or go away.

Post screenshot but DONT SHOW the players name.

Don't get offended by players like that, just think about this: The guy was probably frustrated because he never get's any love from his parents and he has to vent his frustrations about that in the game. You where the spark that set him on fire while you won the FOG game in a fair way.

 

 

 

That's all you have to think about, then if he does something offensive, find you red report button, click on it enter name etc. and be done with it. Don;t feel offended by all the [bleep]ers in runescape, just be happy & be yourself!

Don't let that guy get to you. The fact that he gets so frustrated because he lost one round in a computer game means he has no friends to spend his time with instead.

 

I was once paired with a level 126 (was on a F2P world) and I beat him... Twice! FoG is all about strategy and if that guy is too stupid or too cocky to play good enough to win then forget him.

You know, i take flaming as a compliment. I see it as i have wtfpwnt them so hard that they are so embarrassed that they have to resort to flaming and racism. Report + ignore. or, flame him back :P

Just dont tell them that they are reported. about half an hour ago sombody sent a private message on runescape to me (probably misclicked on who he sent it to) " I go to (not saying school name) school" So he got put on ignore and reported. Its best not to tell people as people just go mad that you did the right thing.

EDIT: Found it. LOL you guys are imaginative. Kind of pointless, because this allows people to even more easily figure out what a censored word is, by context. Plus the fact that every 5 year old knows every bit of vulgar language in existence these days.

You're not supposed to tell them that you reported them. Report + ignore, that's it. If you go running around going "Reported!", you're just begging for them to flame you.

But yeah that stuff happens all the time, just remember the average age of players is about 7 lol
