P.S. I still like runescape anyway so before you post comments about why I should not play runescape and drive a car off a short pier just to tell you runescape is still a good game.

 

 

 

 

 

OMG Do you know what I dislike about runescape? Clue Scroll's nowadays, jeeze back 2 years ago you were able to do a clue scroll in about 3 turns. Now it takes around 20! And those Uri's emotes I mean WDF?? You spend more money than you get!!! I believe runescape should knuckle down and make you spend less money that you should. I mean I'm not poor or anything, but seriously around 5k for another clue with about 20 more to go!!! Oh and have you noticed that half the time you have to have a certain level for like clothes to wear. The other day right I just did a clue and the next one said I had to think under the telescope in observatory or something and I had to wear Green'D hide Chaps...I only had 38 range!!!!!! So in conclusion I say there should be less time taken to finish a clue scroll and Uri's emotes should get scrapped!

EDIT: I just finished the Clue Scroll, 6 Teak Planks, an Steel Pickaxe and 15 Chaos Runes.

Ye clue scrolls aint as good as they used to be reward wise, i really cba with anything below a level 2 clue as its probably not going to make me a profit.

 

 

 

As far as level required to wear something is concerned i dont really agree with you, clue scrolls arent really hard and without requirements such as that the rewards would be even more common imo. Certain locations that arent accessable to everyone are another thing people complain about with clue scrolls but that doesnt really bother me, i think its a good reason to go do some of the quests or motivate people to get the levels for a certain item.

Wait, so what you're saying is that you hate runescape because you get crappy treasure trail rewards? That's just one aspect of runescape, get over it.

I do agree that the Uri clues are a bit aggravating at times. (I have a seperate tab in my bank devoted to armor/weapons that Uri requires you to wear. This way, I don't have to go buy new one every time).

 

 

 

I do also agree with you when you talk about how it takes more time/effort to get it finished then it used to, and the energy put into it vastly outweighs the outcome/rewards.

 

 

 

However, you just have to remember, you will eventually get a really cool item, and it'll make up for all your frustration.

I'm sorry for the title xD

i remember my first ever clue reward was a black (g) kite and an air staff, second was black plate and 20 trout and so fourth, i almost always got a (t) or (g) item before they changed them.

I have absolutely no problem with the Treasure Trial system. I've done over 10 level 3 clue scrolls, all have had a reasonable yield (100k+)

 

On average, it takes me 6 trails. Not 20, I don't think there are ANY Clue Scrolls with 20 trials, however I do see where you're coming from. That's why I no longer bother with Level 1 or 2 clues ;)

clue scrolls also never take 20 steps, done around 150 lvl 3s and the longest one was 7 or 8.. stop whining
