I found Mario Kart Wii quite horrible, yet it's online mode provides an example on what future Nintendo Wi-Fi enabled games should play like. (Playing people from Japan with zero lag ftw)

I don't think any on the Wii is worthwhile to get yet, but why not give the Virtual Console a try?

I find myself playing DKC2 quite a bit. ::'

i wouldn't recommend homebrew. the reason is, my friend had to replace his wii because homebrew was currupting files, and the modchips that were installed just littered all these viruses.

VC gaming can be pretty expensive sometimes. it saved me a few games from nostalgia like SF64. as for wiiware, pretty much 80% of the games suck so i don't recommend DLing anything there.

Well, I pretty much hate emulation, wouldn't recommend it- doesn't give you that "feel."

On the bright-side, when *if* Earthbound is put up on the Virtual Console, only 79% of the games would stink. :D

Homebrew on a Wii connected to the Internet receiving updates = bad idea. Same goes with AR and any other non-licensed software you can think of.

As for MKWii, I didn't mind it. I think the online play was a lot better than it was on MKDS. Snaking has been, to all intents and purposes, removed, which makes it easier on the fingers. The only thing stopping it from being a proper contest instead of a random result are the items. I'm fed up of blue shells appearing from no where when you're about 30 seconds ahead of everyone. If they can't catch me, that's their fault.

I was 1st place in Waluigi stadium, 1st place would have gotten by gold trophy on 150cc when a blue shell bombs me and leaves me in 6th place. It's bull.

I shall take my flock underneath my own wing, and kick them right the [bleep] out of the tree. If they were meant to fly, they won't break their necks on the concrete.
So, what is 1.111... equal to?

10/9.
