I quit members for like a year and a half but i got on and talked to my friend...I realized that summoning was a new skill and was really good for helping a bunch of skills. So I was wondering...what is the fastest way to summoning levels, cost efficient, and how long it takes?

the fastest way to lvl your summoning to to make the best item with your current lvl. It is widely know that crimsons charms are the best way to train your summoning as they give you one of the best gp/exp ratio. In order to start summoning you must have done wolf whistle quest. to get chrams you have to kill monsters, some of the best monsters for crimson charms are rock lobsters that are best to be bursted but that it a very expensive method, you could kill waterfiends but i'm not sure what your stats are. there are several guides in the AOW on how to train your summoning efficently...

That's true; but remember, summoning's expensive. I've trained mine from 1-63 and it cost around 8-9m, buying all mats ... I used Bogrog (exchanges pouches -> 70% of the shards needed for it, you have to be some levels higher to do so) at lvls 59-63.

That's too much. I think I spent 6-7m max on my 78 summoning.

 

 

 

Just train slayer or kill waterfiends to gather charms, then use them to make the best pouches you can make that have reasonably priced seconds. There's a very good summoning guide in the aow forum.

Make highest XP pouches you can feasible afford the second for.

 

 

 

As a rule stick to golds, green and crimsons and keep blues as long as you can but if you train via slayer you'll get a nice mixed bag.

 

 

 

I spent approx 8mil from 75-80 but I got over 200k shards back so it's a fair bit cheaper.

 

 

 

Also buy pouches you want to use don't make them. For example buying a Bunyip makes more sense than making it when you can make Fruit Bats.

Generally, the only way to get summoning up without spending a lot of money is slayer.

 

 

 

Beyond that, the only 'efficient' methods are waterfiends or rock lobsters.

 

 

 

I can't be too much help though, cause I went purely for speed when I got 99 lol.

Slayer, slayer, slayer, slayer, slayer.

 

 

 

Like Sxq said, it's really the only way to get 99 Summoning for free, practically. Inuashakent has an amazing guide in the AOW. I definitely recommend that you read it thoroughly.

Go for waterfiends, you make cash, not lose there...if you have bunyip :mrgreen:

 

 

 

Anyhow its a great option to get charms, just get a GS/SS/Z spear and go for it ;)

Anyways, the best method is slayer.

Summoning isn't free with slayer. You still need to pay for the shards. Granted you get 70% back but you'll still be forking something out.

Slayer should make enough profit to be able to pay for the shards.

Ive payed all my summoning and got all my charms with slayer. Im 200 crimson away from 88 summoning/89 slayer and i started at same time. Ive made lots of cash beyond this with slayer too, so yeah slayer will get you 99 summoning and fund it to I think. That or you will be very high 90s with the charms.
