Aww, now I have a reason to do more quests :?

 

 

 

Me too, I've only got a pathetic 122 quest points, which at 1450 total is shamefull :oops:

 

At least now, I'm kinda motivated (aswell as 175 for RFD) to quest :ugeek:

 

 

 

Pfft, I didn't do Sheep Shearer until I was like 114 combat. D:

 

 

 

I'm 1750 total or something now and I've got 190. 131 combat. I don't wanna get a quest cape until I finish maxing my melee cause I do slayer and I can't get warped terrorbirds or scarabites yet. An advantage gained by not questing = ftw. :P

 

Though, I'm at 95 defence, so it won't be that much before I am maxed melee (already 99 att and str >.>)

 

 

 

Anyways, its a good update. Its a lot of work to get to the point where you can transfer 60k every 15 minutes. But I think its a good limit.

 

 

 

Agreed. Although after some consideration, I think it should stop there. Jagex have said they're increasing the limit yet again in the weeks to come. :|

You mean when they are releasing the 270th quest point? The increase will be so small it's hardly worth mentioning, and technically it's already happened, it's just impossible to access.

My only issue with these limits is that they really dont do me much good, because no one else has the same limit I do. Asid from a few friends who have or had a quest cape, I have never traded with someone who had the old 30k limit. Of course, only having player traded about 7 times since the GE was created, its not really an issue.

Wow why doing it much more difficult than needed: putting just the trade limit in the Y (depend) and the QP in the X (independ) fields yields a pretty basic curve:

 

 

 

seems completely linear.

 

Origin gives also some nice function:

 

y = P1 * x + P2;

i personally dont think this will reinstitute rtw it takes too much time to transfer. what i do see is friends skilling together and giving money over time. in other words... a slower way to scam your friends yay! -.-

Scam your friends? First of all, if you are scamming your friends, then they aren't your true friends. Secondly, usually a person isn't "scammed" slowly on Runescape, it's more of a * Pker165 wants to trade with you* *Trade* *-.-* "Omg No!"

 

 

 

I mean, scamming your friends slowly, what are you gonna do, follow them around and ask for 60k cash every 15 minutes (They would probably realize what you are doing...)? And if it is just an occasional asking for some money, they probably won't care and don't consider that scamming, as the amount is too small to be noticable.

Yesterday there was a thread on the RSOF which suggested a higher trade limit for more quest points. There were quite a few signatures and I couldn't agree more with them. In fact, I logged into the forums just to support it! Then today when I saw the update I couldn't believe it.

 

 

 

Edit: Ok so it wasn't EXACTLY the same thing but I found the thread I supported. It suggested removing the trade limit if you have 200+ quest points, but instead they've increased the trade limit to 60k which is good enough.
