I've been getting 13, but I haven't gotten anything over 30k in 31 runs :o. What is your personal barrows KC, and do you have any decent rewards? If you're using a lot of spells like slayer dart then you want a higher KC (20+) to replenish your runes or if you want a good amount of bolt racks for say the Fire Cape. If you're using a mostly melee method like Veracs you want to keep it at a minimum as that will speed up your run time, since you aren't using that many if any runes you don't need to stick around to get more. -Recipient of Lesser Demon Champion Scroll Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It is only affected by a single type of monster. To maximize your loot, kill 1 of each monster: rat, spider, skeleton, and blooderzzz. davidium Posted October 6, 2008 Share Posted October 6, 2008 KC definitely does not affect whether you get a barrow equipment or not (excluding boltrack). only the KC of the brothers count towards barrow equipment...there is indeed no such thing as the "lucky number" and it is all just a coincidence. Why would Jagex allow that to happen? so that players can abuse the system and keep getting a particular KC? it would be considered an unfair advantage from Jagex's viewpoint and they do clamp down and make no allowances towards such advantages as seen from the sara gwd -.- i just try to get more than 10 and kill different creatures as well... maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cookinglife may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Why! Have some decency and let me finish off the monster and get my arrows that I earned you PIG! Less then 20, the runes and bolts didn't pay enough. Above 30, its not worth the hassle If you have the supplies and are not interested in the runes/bolts only kill the brothers. But if you want to make a constant profit/refund I would get 20 to 30 as the bolts and runes pay for the spells and supplies.
