October 6, 200817 yr Author Ok then. And i'm not sure "bolt racks" are a barrows item :P. Well, it is, but they are common, just likes runes and coins. I'm looking more towards armor and weapons. But thanks : MY RUNESCAPE GOALS

I've gotten around 50+ items from barrows using the killcount 7 or 13, it's really luck but as long as you kill the brothers with a few extra kc inside the tunnels you should have a decent chance in getting an item. 99 Hits, Attack, Strength, Defence, Mage, Summoning, Slayer, Ranged, 96/99 Prayer

October 6, 200817 yr i just get the 6 brothers besides the occasional monster i kill trying to open the doors kc only effects the amount of runes/bolts you get and doens't affect your chances of getting barrows items i've only done bout 10 or so runs and only 1 item :( can't complain much though considering it was a ws :thumbsup: [spoiler=click you know you wanna]Me behave? October 6, 200817 yr It depends on what strategy you use that should give you an idea of what KC you need. If you're using a lot of spells like slayer dart then you want a higher KC (20+) to replenish your runes or if you want a good amount of bolt racks for say the Fire Cape. If you're using a mostly melee method like Veracs you want to keep it at a minimum as that will speed up your run time, since you aren't using that many if any runes you don't need to stick around to get more. -Recipient of Lesser Demon Champion Scroll

Get 20, ive got 2 drops from 9 kills :thumbsup: GL with 20kc :D DK's Drops: 7 Berserker Rings, 2 Warrior Ring, 1 Archers Ring, 7 Dragon Hatchet, 1 Seercull, 3 Elite Clue - All SoloGWD Drops (CS): 1 Bandos Chestplate, 2 Armadyl Hilt, 1 Armadyl ChestplateSlayer:1 D skirt, 2 Whip, 12 G Mauls, 2 Dragon Boots
October 6, 200817 yr KC definitely does not affect whether you get a barrow equipment or not (excluding boltrack). only the KC of the brothers count towards barrow equipment...there is indeed no such thing as the "lucky number" and it is all just a coincidence. Why would Jagex allow that to happen? so that players can abuse the system and keep getting a particular KC? it would be considered an unfair advantage from Jagex's viewpoint and they do clamp down and make no allowances towards such advantages as seen from the sara gwd -.- i just try to get more than 10 and kill different creatures as well... maxed out melee on 10/10/08, current goal: 94/99 cookinglife may be unfair, but why can't it be unfair in my favor?my fake plant died because i forgot to pretend to water it
October 6, 200817 yr i always get 13 too,and always get decent stuff [v helm skirt and k top after 20~] I'm at Karamja ranging lessers... if I don't kill him in time people run underneath my foe and steel my arrows. Why! Have some decency and let me finish off the monster and get my arrows that I earned you PIG! Otherwise i have to run out to grab my arrows, get hit, and go back.. and guess what!, by then they stole my lesser! BASTARD! 100% P2P
October 6, 200817 yr Leesters did a lot of runs and research into the ideal kill count. His answer was 20 to 30. Less then 20, the runes and bolts didn't pay enough. Above 30, its not worth the hassle If you have the supplies and are not interested in the runes/bolts only kill the brothers. But if you want to make a constant profit/refund I would get 20 to 30 as the bolts and runes pay for the spells and supplies.
