As of last night, my phone is the enemy :evil:

 

I was doing something, and must've hit long range.

 

That's right, 2 defence :cry:

 

 

 

At this point, i'm 64 combat and thinking where to go now.

 

I'm currently training towards 50 attk so I can be nearly maxed out in low level crater Bounty Hunter for now. I'm thinking rune pure in the future with all the trimmings (torso, defender etc).

 

 

 

Just wondering if this is a good idea?

 

Or to head in another direction?

 

 

 

I quit upon the release of behind the scenes January and the changes about to be made on the Wilderness and Duel Arena. Just started playing a week ago and wondering if there are any better options?

Well 1 def lvl isn't such a dizaster and you could keep it at lvl 2.

 

 

 

I wuld however get 70+ att and 45 def.

 

95 str with fighter torso, whip, climbing boots, rune defender and some prayer you culd hit near 40s

 

and equipment is cheap.

 

 

 

Don't aim for bh cb lvl limits as it will be different in pvp worlds (you wuld be around 92).

 

Ranged is owerpowered atm, so you might want to check that out.

First of all, I would totally forget about bh since PvP worlds would be far more popular, which means more fights for you.

Forget about BH levels system as Jagex has already said it will be like old PKing format where you can only kill people within certain amount of levels of you.

 

 

 

IMO the type of Pker I've always thought best was a 45 Def, 70 Att and 90+ Str pker. Go with the mage and range levels you can afford thereafter.

Use the tip.t combat calculator and see if this does in-fact level you up. As most cases it takes 3 defence to level up a pure.

Get 40def only... with your levels anything higher than 40def would be stupid. Also leave attack were it is for now, get your ranged to soemthing like 90 or 95, str to 95 and then get atk higher if you can.

Become a zerker pure instead of strength.

2 def isnt that much of a big deal...id say just continue what you were doing...

2 Defense is going to do nothing to your account. If anything, it might aid you as you more protection.

omfg. dude i feel ur pain. i too got 2 def on a pure once. and i started over because it wasnt really that good either. like level 30str. :roll: but looking how far uve gone :shock: i wouldnt really do anything. yeah u got 2 def but just get 99str etc. and ur still a perfect pure. wat ive learned is that u rnt disappointed about level 2 itself but about how ur a pure and now ur ruined. there r plenty of great 2 defers out there and welcome to the 2def club. who know even make ur own 2 def clan. k im getting carried away here. but the point is that it wont hinder u too much. think of it as just 1 hp lower then u should have. it didnt have an effect on ur combat level though (at least it shouldnt) it sucks yes. but dont give up. just keep doing wat u r. and laugh at how silly u think this topic is once u own ppl in pvp worlds. :lol: gl man. who knows u might even later make a rune pure or something like that. wait till pvp worlds and just pwn pwn pwn. and if not then make 40def. or something. put u should be able to won. gl again mate.

I myself am a zerker pure, and am making a range tank account on the side. The 2 defence won't really harm anything. DO NOT GET OVER 45 DEFENCE unless you become a main or something and get 70. I regret going from 45 to 60 just for d boots. Stay 45 def and get attack up a bit. Range for hp and swarveness. Meanwhile, I am maxed out for low level P2P BH (give or take a few attk levels) - but I am 50 attk now and 67 combat.

 

I'm not planning on abiding by the bounty hunter parameters, and am going to level my combat upon relevant information regarding PvP worlds to be released.

 

Once PvP worlds is released, i'll be able to have a better idea on which type of characters work well in the new environment.

 

I'm thinking like alot of you said, 45 defence 70\75attk 99 str and level range\mage to it's heights without combat levelling (which should be 99)

 

 

 

For now I am sticking to 2 defence and having a little fun mauling in BH \ and training Ranged as it's the dominant stat at the moment you said :D

 

Let me know after the update if you have any other tips.

Well, considering you already have 2 defense, would it be better to level it to 5 and wear steel? It does provide more bonus, after all. (or 10, I remember alot of armours were unlocked at level 10)
