Ouchy
I would start with Cows, then move onto Minotaurs. Both of those monsters will make you some profit, so you won't be loosing any arrows. My relaxation method involves a bottle of lotion, beautiful women, and partial nudity. Yes I get massages.

You should use iron arrows at minotaurs (they drop lots of iron arrows) and iron or steel at black knights (they have good drops that will pay for the arrows). Use the best shortbow you can. At 1 def you can wear any chaps and vambraces and leather bodies. Ah, this reminds me about the noob on the Runescape forums who was upset with the quest "Cold War" because apparently his grandparents died in the war. :wall:

wildyowns70
Well black knights are good, but i would go to karamja volano and kill lesser deamons in safe spots. (they somemtimes drop rune med helms) 98% of all runescape players wastes most of their time on skilling, if you are one of the 2% that stayed with player killing. Yomyth105
^ yea but the chance isnt so high and it doesnt sell for so much anymore. wat about hill giants? on a 200ppl server?
ladycai
Very populated, i don't think you'll get good stuff there. If I were you, I'd range hobgoblins near crafting guild and telegrab limpwurt roots. YOu make about 400gp profit. Bronze bolts are a good idea to use there too. 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]

DO NOT fight them on the mountain. Fight them inside the fortress, there's a spot where you can shoot them across a fence (the room with the altar) and pick up your arrows. They drop death runes, law runes, and steel bars. It's not gonna be too much mage xp anyway. WHen you miss hits via mage melee, you still get xp w/ no hp xp, so all pure mages are kinda messed up anyway :P you can have 50 mage and 30 hp or 50 mage and 15 hp. Limps = 700-800 (not near ge atm, can't say exact) telegrabs = 300gp-350gp 95/99 Summoning95/99 Slayer [hide=This is what you look like when you play RS too long][/hide]

Yomyth105
off topic: is it good to train mage at lessers because theyre weak to magic?
rangeor
1: You're probably past this, but when you train on cows, ALWAYS train by the gnomecopters. Rarely more than 1 other person there, and you have a deposit box nearby for banking hides/bones. 2: Lessers would probably be good for training mage. slaytanicc
Well i think you have a good idea going, but if you want to maxamize your profit it would be much better to start ranging lvl 56 roaches as soon as you hit 50 ranged. safespots are easy to use |Tip.it's TOP F.o.G player|Current Goals: 95STR/95ATK/95RANGED|
RayOxide
1-10 - Chickens, or safe the cows through the fence. Not recommended til atleast 5 10-20/30 - Cows. (only to 30 if you need money) 20-30 - Minotaurs .. They are great, and they're safe-spottable. You should tank with an iron platebody/chainbody, and maybe helm. 30-40 - Starts to get easy to train now; you probably dont care if you lose your bronze arrows, so if you dont, possibly the hobgoblins on the Hobgoblin Peninsula near craft guild. 40-50 - Possibly safe-ranging the ice warriors/giants in the ice cavern. Hoping this will work if you read a guide on them in the AoW Other than this you should read Kill Lifes ranging guide for F2P ranging. It's good. I dont need a siggy no moar. Yomyth105
thanks everyone for ur help so far. i got 15 range yesterday by killing chickens. i see that im killing them faster and more accurately so its time for me to move on. i will probably go for cows until 25 and make some profit. then later i will go for minotaurs. until level 40 once im deciding on the following: black knights ice giants roaches (just heard that now) is this a good idea?
