CampbellMC Posted October 12, 2008 Share Posted October 12, 2008 When they updated treasure trails with things like the construction rewards, masks and different other small rewards, it lowered the chance of getting a page by a TON. This coupled with the fact that more people are playing the game everyday cause the price to sky rocket. I believe the pages are 2.5-3M each atm. Ned Posted October 13, 2008 Share Posted October 13, 2008 Guthix books aren't worth it, it has too little defense and attack bonus for a shield. Zamorak has high value mainly because of it being a god item for God Wars, and the range bonus. Saradomin has better value because it is a god item as well, but not nearly as much as zamorak because it has only defense stats. Zamorak pages are very hard to get now. Navyvet1 Posted October 13, 2008 Share Posted October 13, 2008 The fast rise in price is due to the Avianse Guides for the GWD...LOL The guide pretty much made it a "MUST HAVE". Last I tried to purchase them, the were arouns 1 Mil each...I gave up after none of my offers were taken...even when I tried to purchase MAX price on all, updating my offer multiple times a day. Unfortunately, they probably will not drop in price unless Jagex makes an update that is as profitable as the Avianses...and is better served using one of the other books.
