Corrupt dragon

I think they'll be allowed in wars, but this may depend on just how difficult to obtain they are. If corrupt dragon trading on the GE is highly illiquid due to few pvp drops, I think people will start to ban them from wars due to a purported "unfair advantage", much like we've seen with infinite run. I personally couldn't get a corrupt drag item from the GE in time for MSSW4, but that may have been due to the fact these items are still brand new - only time will tell the full story, I suppose.

Maybe, I hope it will be allowed. It would be strange if it wouldn't be allowed, since it's F2p. Maybe it will just be like a Lumbridge diary ring.

If somebody bans them; I will them them the same thing as what I said for Explorer's Ring:

IT"S F2P!

People need to understand this: if you have a good enough bank to buy it or are lucky enough, good for you, you can use that to your advantage.

I'm sorry but even in a clan war using corrupt dragon is not a big an advantage as its stat boost gives as it only exists for 30mins 'real time' so that oh so smug guy might just get a shock when it suddenly goes "pop."

{edit:spelling}

People have told me that it's not 30 minutes of real time but rather 30 minutes of actual combat, in the same manner of barrows armor or druid robes. Most wars don't even last 30 minutes total, though, so a single corrupt dragon item should be able to last an entire fight even if it does degrade in 30 minutes of real time.

Except for the three+ hour PKRIs. People would have to buy five or six Corrupt dragon scimitars for that single war. Big dent on cash supply, no matter how rich you are.

I have the bank to buy a few hundred corrupted dragon sets, but they're really not worth it. The timer starts when you equip the item, rather than being like barrows where the timer is only in play during combat.

I won't be buying them, and I think few people will be, but when I pk them in wars I'll just equip them then and use them lol. So far I've got a corrupted dragon spear, battleaxe and chainbody. They look pretty cool and you can hit really high (40 on f2p lol) but the timer is a bucket of fail.

I've been trying to buy a dragon mace for a few days now and no luck. I hope more gets pumped into the economy or else they'll skyrocket to almost 1m.

Why a mace? They're pretty much the worst weapons in existance lol.

Well, it can KO and you can't get a dragon 2h. :P Plus, rune is weak to crush.

Battleaxe is a way better crush weapon, at the same speed. You can hit 40s with it on f2p lol.

Hmm, I'll be sure to keep that in mind. Mostly I picked the mace is because of the fact that the corrupt dragon battleaxes are so expensive. They're outrageous in price at the moment and doubling-even tripling-in price every day!

The only weapons worth buying are scimitars, longswords and battleaxes, just as for any other metal. The mace is slow and inaccurate, and the prayer bonus is pointless as you could get better value-for-money if you spent the money on prayer training rather than dragon maces. :?
