Why do you pk?

Featured Replies

Why do I pk? The same reason you play runescape.

To make them bleed.

What.

i pk to show 1 itemers who the boss is. I stand in fally for instance with my anchor, granite plate, and dragon pl8 legs. 1 itemers get antsy and attack me with smite on expecting to get something. Then i kick their butt. Then they respawn and i kill them again. It satisfying for me to kill people in it for quick cash. its even better when they come back and complain cause they forgot to put on protect 4th item (or 1 cause they are all skulled)

Although it can be fun, I'm in it for the cash. Unless it's a raid on a town, I'm always in it for profit. That's why I never spent GP on supplies for Clan Wars.

Interesting but heres a tip with drops. I died 3 times losing about 200k each time then pked someone and got a 1.5m pk. The hint here is if you die a few times then pk someone your drops are greatly increased. So i guess this means the bad pkers get better drops than the good ones =]

I still have yet to get a good kill  I usually mage because when looking for a team clans always want mages, and the fact that it's my only decent stat for my level. I carry along full rune because the mages always get piled first and I'd probably need to switch armors. One day I decided to try my hand at 1v1's. So I was by the northern varrock alter and a 113 comes and attacks me (I'm a 107). He was a little beyond my comfort level because I was still an inexperienced pker with noob skills (my str is only 86) so I walked to the bank. I decided not to waste any food because I thought I could make it to the bank in time. So I did make it to the bank, but I didn't know there was a 10 second rule before you were safe. So I was really low hp because I didn't eat, and the guy kept pounding at me with his scimmy. The bank was crowded so I didn't notice my hp draining so I casually walked to bank. At that point my character suddenly dropped dead and I came back in Lumbridge. It took me a few seconds to realize what happened, then I felt really ticked that I didn't notice. Then I felt even more ticked because I had been skulled and lost everything: My rune armor, 100k worth of runes, and a full invent of swordfish that I didn't bother to use because I thought I could handle it. The price didn't matter, I have 42m to spare, but the fact that that guy got such an easy kill from my own ignorance just put me off for the rest of the day.

tip it would pay me $500.00 to keep my clothes ON :(
But then again, you fail to realize that 101% of the people in this universe hate you. Yes, humankind's hatred against you goes beyond mathematical possibilities.
That tears it. I'm starting an animal rebellion using my mind powers. Those PETA bastards will never see it coming until the porcupines are half way up their asses.

Apparently a lot of people say it. I own.

http://linkagg.com/ Not my site, but a simple, budding site that links often unheard-of websites that are amazing for usefulness and fun.

despite the easy kill that guy probably got nothing for killing you anyways, i hate the new pkin system i pked for the thrill of the kill and the rewards that go with it. Pkin for fun is no differnt to a duel, castle wars, clan wars. Its nice to be able to pk in so many differnt places but the rewards really arent working out how id hope they would and its all thanks to RWT

GWD solo drops: Armadyl Hilt sold at 63.5m - (More to come hopefully)

I PK for fun, drops are a bonus :)

Thrill of the fight and joy of the kill. Drops are like a garnish on a good steak of PKing.

There's cake through here, apparently.

I pk to see if I can get anything, usually I don't.

I want jagex to put resource dungeons and dungeoneering skill doors to dungeoneering floors so I can dungeon and get dungeoneering xp while I dg so I don't have to dg to get dg exp, but I can dg while I dg :)?

Well, I pk for 2 reasons, actually.

#1: The fun of the battle. The whole excitement of the battle is probably my favorite part.

#2: The money. It pays for food and I have some left over for other stuff. And who doesn't like money?

Wheels431: Self proclaimed pessimist and nerd.

Because it's fun.

In 7 years I've probably lost more pking than I've gained, so I must suck at it, but I do it because it's fun.

jfroggy

i used to pk for money.

now i dont play.

pking USED to be extremly profitable and fun if you could do it succesfully. i cant play anymore but i doubt it would anyways, but i think if i did id play runescape like normally just on a pvp world. then you can do anything you normally do except with the thrill of kicking people out of training spots!

rs has taken away that annoyance of a guy 5 lvls lower then you telling you to get off of his fire giants. PKED!
