No matter what, every player in Runescape will not do their best at the first trips to a boss. P.S Get Fire cape if you can. As for special weapon, some of them are big risk (Dragon hally and you loose whip on death), and some of them are so inaccurate that they are not worth it. Dragon halberd, Dragon claws, AGS, BGS, SGS is only ones i can think of right now that's best to use. Just make sure you don't die with them, in other words don't risk it.
