TzTok-Jad Mele Attack Information Please

I want a video showing TzTok-Jad Melee attack (Not a video that has been speeded up). I hope for sound of his melee attack also if he does make sound. I have tried youtube but not found any videos that has all of this.

I also hoped anyone could answer a question. I was thinking to melee TzTok-Jad, so i was thinking to switch my prayers to melee protect as soon as TzTok-Jad attacks with a magic or ranged.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

So my question is: when can i change prayer from let's say range prayer to melee prayer, without being hit by his first attack?

Basically, when you are in melee range, have melee pray on until he uses a range or mage attack. As soon as the range/mage attack hits, go back to melee pray.

Thanks and yeah i knwo there is tons videos (After making thread i searched more). But some of them is speeded up or have bad quality, but i found couple ones and one with great quality and normal speed. :D

A question that i forgot to ask: you said that once attack hits you change back to melee, but can you change your prayers to melee soon as you heard the attack hits you?

I never claimed that i was a EXPERT/PRO at TzTok-Jad. I just made guide about prayer switching that involves using range to kill TzTok-Jad. There is not many players who melee TzTok-Jad for Fire cape, as that is hard.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I don't like wasting my time, so i don't wanna go and get killed by TzTok-Jad so i look for relevant information before i do something. That's why i made this thread, to get information about his melee attack.

2) Prayer-switching is all inclusive. Get hit by selected style, switch to melee. This isn't difficult.

Jad's old melee was him taking a front leg and smacking you sideways; I'm not sure what his new one is, but watching The_Murder21's videos should show you.

 

 

 

From what I recall, at least with the old Jad, you had to be praying as he started his animation, so watching for it would do no good - hence why melee protect was always used, only switching to range\mage when those animations started, and switching back as they hit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then again, I've gotten to him once, and died in 2 hits. But my advice still holds...

On topic: If im right, the method (once your in melee range) is to have protect from melee on, then when you see his mage/range attack, you switch. Then straight away switch back to protect from melee, after youve been hit by his mage/range attack. Just continue this till the end of the fight.

the guide that sirhemen has is only about helping you to prepare to prayer switch..as about 90% of people that do fight caves use range sirhemen guide applies to the majority of the players....now he is trying to get information on how to attract the minority of the rs population by trying out a new tactic of meleeing jad as some poeple try this method...he simply want to try it out for himself so he can help other people in his guide.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On topic: i would agree with the later posters that you should have melee prayer on the whole time until you see or hear jad attack with mage or range then take the correct action to negate the attack.

As for my guide, a guide is not finished in 1 day. It's a thing you work on as you do things. Do i have to repeat myself?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I have killed Jad 4 times in row with ranging and using my own guide to practice for Jad fight. 4 times and i have not died to Jad. So what, do i need to kill JAd 100 times before you believe that i know what i am talking about?

To answer the other question - I would wait until you actually see the damage. Most attacks are calculated before that happens, but since Jad's attacks have that delay that allows you to prayer switch at all, it seems safest simply to switch to melee when you literally see the damage splash appear on yourself.

To all those who said i should know what i am doing when writing a guide. Let me share this with you:

 

 

 

I never said the prayer switching guide involved melee. As my guide is the first of it's kind.

 

 

 

I also practiced with a method i made using information (Thanks to Sxq and some others), and used that.

 

 

 

I later went to TzTok-Jad and killed him - 1st attempt at meleeing. and achieved my 6th Fire cape.
