Alot of Money in 4 months

I didn't say it's the hardest, ilovecardj did.

But wait... what skill in RS is "hard?" Slayer is as c lose as it gets. Sure, it's the same as hp, but it comes at a slower xp rate due to the fact that you must kill what you are assigned. What, then, determines what the "hardest" cape is? Length? Cost? No, it should be a mixture of those, in which Slayer comes at the very bottom.

You can buy half the capes for under 50 mil. the rest can be powered/bought for 100m or so, with very fast exp rates.

exceptions are well : summoning

takes far more time to get 99 slayer then 100m or 99 in any other skill. RUNECRAFT is HARD though

runecraft, slayer, farming, agility and summoning probly the hardest ones in my opinion.

for worked 99s, wc and fishing are slow but easy because its mostly afked. mining is tough and a well respected cape. hunter is fast

you cant compare slayer to hp, because you only get slayer exp on task, you get hp automatically. there for you dont train hp, but you do train slayer

Last input. Runescape is a very very very easy game. Nothing in runescape is hard at all really. But slayer is the hardest of runescape lol

You're proving that its more of an opinion on how good/hard slayer is.

And a skill thats "hard" would be based three quarters on price, and one on length, imo.

And btw

Kent: "... Nobody says it's hard... well, besides a few tasks..."

(earlier) ilovecardj: " ...One of the best/hardest/most respected capes in the game..."

Kent: "I didn't say it's the hardest, ilovecardj did."

get it yet?

@cardj. Runecrafting is almost impossible to lose money in it.

Slayer is exactly the same xp ratio as hp, you kill things, so its pretty much just hp with more stipulations.

But I do think mining is pretty hard to get imo. The amount of clicking is too annoying. And the xp isnt even good!

But the hardest skill to get 99 in is summoning. Close 2nd would be mining or possibly something along the lines of it.

I dont need a siggy no moar.

actually you get 1.3 hp exp per damage delt and 1 xp per slayer monsters hp

on a 100 hp monster thats 133 hp exp (plus maybe a few exp for recovered health) vs 100 slayer xp

you will 99 hp before you are 2/3 done slayer if you got every single hp on task (note cannon slightly altars this)

Slayer isnt really fun. It's only fun to those combat loving people who can stick to a skill even when it gets really boring.

And slayer isnt close to a good moneymaker unless you get a rare drop each task or 2 per task..

And it really honestly isnt hard to train.

Doesn't that make it even harder?

Cost is the highest value of determining if a skill is hard.

Slayer costs nothing.

That's a whole bunch of bull.

Money made from method 1-2 Experience gained/hour from method 2- method 1 * Amount of experience gained from method 2/ method 1

That's how you find what's efficient. In this case, replace method with skill.

Camp at drop party pete's house lol

lol

Well on topic, slayer is clearly the best choice for him, because he should get a majority of the charms he needs for 99 summoning, and although he could make better money other places, he's still make alot of money by the time he gets 99 slayer.

Now this really is an opinion. I never found slayer boring... And I wouldn't even classify myself as combat-loving (that's more something for PK'ers en boss hunters).

It may not be hard to train, but what skill is really hard in RS? You can't run one skill down on the premise that it isn't "hard" and leave the rest of the game out of it. Slayer's hard because it costs a lot of time and decent skills overall.

As for the original question. Don't do slayer if you just want a lot of money, do slayer if you want slayer experience + a bit of money.

Untrimmed Sum cape prolly won't even work since I'm guessing you'll hit 99 Mage and maybe even HP before having enough charms for 99 Summoning.

I can almost guarantee we will see an untrimmed summoning cape in the next year. Charms can be obtained through theiving and if a person uses the rest of their combat training to obtain charms it will be very obtainable. I know this post is completely off topic, but just about nobody is actually addressing the question.

Already done!

@topic:

Do slayer for charms and some RC for a little bit of money - should help. :D
