October 30, 200817 yr I think that they just went out to everyone who has AT SOME POINT been a member and done the quest. Hence, even the f2p'ers who were once members and did the quest still got them.

October 31, 200817 yr Only people who sided with the Guardians got it. I sided with Lucien and didn't. Basically Jagex are making it so that, storywise, Lucien has the staff whatever path you chose. This is almost 100% to do with the uber quest (150th) early next year. F2p's who were members and are now not, who have done the quest still require the communication because otherwise the storyline would make no sense if they ever did go back p2p. They'd be like "wtf I thought I stopped Lucien getting the staff?!?!". Trust the Gene Genie!

November 1, 200817 yr Did you take Lucien's side? Or did you go against him? It seems that no one who helped Lucien gain the staff gets a message, probably because the Guardians wouldn't want anything to do with you.
