November 12, 200817 yr I've recently re-subbed after not playing for a while, and noticed that they added PVP worlds back in, that's pretty neat, just like old times! Does that mean food is now in high demand on PVP worlds, just like old times? Ive always liked to fish but I feel like my lobbies and sharks aren't needed anymore, has this PVP world update changed things a bit? ( i'm not with the economic times )
November 12, 200817 yr Cooked foods: Lobster: 288 Swordfish: 411 Monkfish: 373 Shark: 1,014 raws are obviously more. November 12, 200817 yr raws are obviously more. They weren't more when the old wilderness was still in the game, I remember cooking on W1 in Edgeville after I bought around 10k lobsters for 240 each, then selling them in Varrock for 250-270 each. Food isn't in more demand in PvP worlds than any other world because of the Grand Exchange. You might make a little more fishing now though. : "Only by going too far can one find out how far one can go." T.S. Eliot
November 12, 200817 yr The reason for the end product being less than the Raw product is the experience you can obtain out of the raw product. Back in the day, money was a lot harder to make than it is now and there weren't millions of people fishing the same type of fish. Nowadays if a product has a 10% increase and someone has the skill level to produce it, there will be 10 times the supply actually needed to fulfill that demand. I might just be talking out my [wagon], I've been up all night.
November 12, 200817 yr surprisingly it hasn't had as big an effect ask thought it would. Most potions didn't go up much if at all. Most notably for me is natures. I expected them to rise a lot due to more people training magic again for things like ancients and tele block. However they really haven't changed. This still confuses me
November 12, 200817 yr at a point between cook-x and skill capes fish was always more expensive raw then cooked.
November 12, 200817 yr I miss the good days when fletching and cooking were great profit. And smithing, crafting, and herblore didn't cost millions and millions for a few levels... noobs crowding hill giants? not on my watch
November 12, 200817 yr I miss the good days when fletching and cooking were great profit. And smithing, crafting, and herblore didn't cost millions and millions for a few levels... Work out smart ways to lvl. Ive made over 300k/h crafting at 180k xp an hour. Takes a little patience, however, the time you have to wait doesnt have to be online. A Guide to Chinning in Ape atoll: up to 325kxp/h!
November 12, 200817 yr I miss the good days when fletching and cooking were great profit. And smithing, crafting, and herblore didn't cost millions and millions for a few levels... i broke even on 79-82 herblore and got to keep at least 1200 range pots. i dont get how herblore is "costly"
November 12, 200817 yr I miss the good days when fletching and cooking were great profit. And smithing, crafting, and herblore didn't cost millions and millions for a few levels... Smithing was way more expensive in RSC than rs2 "Any people anywhere, being inclined and having the power, have the right to rise up, and shake off the existing government, and form a new one that suits them better. November 12, 200817 yr But a lot more profitable if you could smith anything rune :P Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. Not really, Rune Ore is no where near the prices it used to be, not as much profit. I'm glad you didn't use the rolly eyes smilie because you would look quite the fool. I remember when a rune 2h was over 10m. The value of money has diminished since RSC. Getting 100k was several times harder than it is in RS2. 100k in RS2 doesn't buy you anything interesting. While in RSC, with 200k you could get a santa, or a partyhat for 1-3M. So even though the price has raised, the actual value of rune armour is a lot lower than it was. In RSC if you had 95+ smithing, you could get rich beyond belief. Now, you barely cut even.
November 12, 200817 yr I have to agree with alot of people here, that I was confused too when most products didn't raise. Funny, my clan was really confindant that products like Saradomin Brews would raise drasticly. Sadly they didnt. And it turned out that they all wasted millions of millions on sara brews. :D "Let your anger be as a monkey in a piñata... hiding amongst the candy... hoping the kids don't break through with the stick." - Master Tang
