As for general pking anybody, you're pretty much the same no matte rwhat level. A level 30 pure vs a lvl 30 main will be ismilar to a level 90 pure vs a lvl 90 main. (unless, for some reason you're basing your assault on magic, in which case it stops being good...well, from the start, really, in f2p).

thats not true at all. pures definetly dominate under combat level 50. its simple. a pure vs a balanced player and the pure wins. however at higher levels the main wins. im wondering wat is this higher level? then i should make a zerker once the pure reign is over

Well most lvl 100's who are pking and kn what they are doing, dont have flat 80's, they would have like 90 str and 70 atk and def

I'm assuming you're a BH pure. As soon as you hit 55 combat and get pushed into the mid-lvl crater with all those lvl 90s, the game's over. :mrgreen:

 

 

 

You could try PvP worlds, but those are full of runners and it's impossible to make a nice profit as a 1Def pure there. The good old days of proper pking are gone. :cry:

Not true, don't forget people who use their whips on controlled. They don't change that, but they don't PK much either.

Now to answer your Q!

 

 

 

From level 10-35ish, mage pures will dominate the scene in F2P. From 35 onwards is the age of the ranger, with a rune 2hander most often used as the KO weapon.

 

 

 

The range/R2H'ers will dominate through to about combat level 60 which is where the strength pures begin to overhaul them with the 21's with rune scimmys and high 20's with rune 2handers.

 

 

 

At around the level 70 mark is where rune pures come into play, and these usually range anywhere from level 75-100 depending on prayer and def level. Most will stay at 31 pray and 40 def if they are true F2P'ers, but many switch between F2P and P2P at this stage so there will be a vast contrast in stats. 45 def, 52 prayer, 60 attack 80 strength pures are a common sight on the F2P scene, but they are at a disadvantage over the 99 strength 40 def pure.

I turned zerker at 55 combat even though i could get 1 more combat lvl. i got sick of spending more money on food than on stuff you pk even though i was good it just wasnt enough to keep me pking. also in the msw4 or what ever it was i fought a rune pure afterwards on my main and he ownd me. it was after that (plus a few other people that turned zerker)that convinced me to become a zerker and not 1 def. and tbh i havent even looked back :thumbsup:. (i had about 75 range, 70 hp, 68 str, 40 attac, 1 def, 1 prayer, 62 mage and i range 2hed when i was 1 def) btw I noticed that u like pures (same here) here is my pures name: pualiscool feal free to add me if you want to talk/pk if u go zerker *note i dont use my main jedislayer14 anymore so dont add him*

I'd say after level 55, seeing as they can't go into Bounty Hunter any more, and Even when I'm pking on PvP at level 50, there's people will full rune.

 

 

 

When you hit level 56, I'd get 44 prayer and do dragon slayer, along with getting 40 defence.

because he had really high attack and str, and i was a main with rounded stats. oh and if you go zerker i recomend 99 att+str some people say that 60/70/75 attack and 99 str is better. but think of it like this.. you get some1 to low hp and so you pull out your dds.. with 60 attack you will not hit very good against full rune/barrows. with 70 you will hit better but you will not hit nearly as much as 99 attack. i dont know if that made any sense to you, but all im saying is attack is really important!!

Once you get to about level 75 (in PvP), Pures become obsolete. A good character (main) at that level will simply own the pure. Again, this is in f2p.

id say pures dominate every1 up til 30cb...then maybe have some trouble til 60cb...50/50 chance in armor fights til around 66-70cb...70-79cb is the golden age of pures...the ones with range at least...easily win in armor fights

 

 

 

going into the 80+ cb range and pures become much less dominant in armor fights but still dominate in no armor fights

Range/R2H pures have no trouble from 45-60, in fact that is one of the prime times for a pure. 70-79 is awesome for strength pures, not so flash for rangers unless you have 99 range, and 44 prayer.
