Bad Luck

I have so bad luck. I have killed over 140 Dagannoth Rexes and gotten only 1 Warrior ring. I am not sure exact how much kills, but i say over 140 as i kill over 30 each trip.

 

 

 

I have done my 8th trip now. I am tired of working so hard for everything and get the lamestdrop as always.

 

 

 

I killed 30+ Bandos boss kills and only got a Shard.

 

I killed 30 Zamorak boss kills and only got a Shard+Zamorak Spear (Why a Shard at beginning?`?WHY!)

 

 

 

And now, i have done 8th Dagannoth rex trip without a Dragon axe/Bersker. But guess what? I got a Warrior ring! Nice 200K EARNED!.

 

 

 

It's not that i am not grateful or don't appreciate a drop. But i always, always get the bad drops and i always have to work very hard to get them.

 

 

 

I hate the way the drop rates are fixed. Why? I am combat 137, no visage, no bandos hilt, no zamorak hilt and no dragon chains (killed 30K+ dust devils thanks alot!)

 

 

 

2 axes+a berserker total (And it was two months ago).

Don't feel bad. I have the same bad luck. I am Cb level 114 and the priciest thing I have gtten was a few G mauls from slayer and a couple of good things from clue scrolls. Playing for over 2 years and have never gotten a dragon item drop. They have really downsized on alot of things like clues and monster drops. :(

well i can understand why you are complaining, but its based on luck, you could kill 100k steel dragons and not get a dragon plateskirt (highly unlikely though).

and yes i know how many trips you have been on, but i mean you could get back to back hilt drops or such, it just comes down to luck.

 

 

 

but goodluck in getting good drops at some point :thumbsup:

I know i posted same thread twice, but that was because of my connection. As for drops it does depend on how much you do what you do.

 

 

 

I just wish that sometimes even i got lucky.

 

 

 

Yes i have gotten Dragon legs, at what price? 600K-700K.

 

 

 

I get things when they cost not much and i have yet to get a 4m+ item Solo :x

Omg you actually got things solo at gwd? Over 90 sara kills and no shard.. I realize it's all luck but there should be some system in place to reward you after so much time spent.

Well, I've played for three years and the best drop I've gotten yet was a Farseer Helmet. :|

 

Nobody has worse luck than me, so you have that consolation at least.

30 solo bandos and zamorak? That's nothing....

 

I've killed over 800 solo bandos with shard and tassets. Around 5k dusties without a chain just from slaying, a couple thousand metal dragons without a visage and have gone on 10 solo mage dry streaks, multiple times. Kill more.

Erm,yeah I really have worse luck than you.Currently I'm focusing on woodcutting,and out of every 20 birdnests I get,1 is a seed,and its never even a good seed,its usually like oak (I think,I drop the contents usually).

 

 

 

When I killed Ankous I never saw a good drop,or staff piece despite being there 60-66 defence.

Anyway, 30 boss kills are nothing... You shouldn't even expect armor within the first 100-150 kills. It took me 390 sara kills for a sara sword, then a hilt 11 kills later and another SS in 40 kills. Bandos was a ton of drops bunched together, then 900 dry kills (a streak I haven't broken yet). Barrows was a 190 dry streak, ahrims hood, 124 dry, ahrim's staff, 78 dry - then a huge rush of 30m+ in drops in the next 100 runs. Random though it may seem, it's all probability - with a large enough sample set (think billions or trillions) it will average out. If you flip a coin 100 trillion times, you will get something like 49.99999999% heads and 50.00000001% tails (In reality, a coin has a higher chance of landing on heads due to increased metal cantaleavered farther out on that side, something like 5 out of a thousand), but you get the idea. You can still roll 10 heads in a row (chances are 0.0009765625%), but in the long run it WILL average out.

Anyways, you're taking this risk. You can get lucky and get 3 [insert good item here] in a row. Take me, I was on my first pyramid plunder trip yesterday, and 3 minutes in, I got a sceptre. Way to save cash!
