Angels & Demons (The Movie)

Featured Replies

I just saw it, and, for someone who hasn't read the book, it blew me away. One of the best films I've seen in recent years, on par with the Dark Knight. I really enjoyed it.

So don't let anyone tell you you're not worth the earth,

These streets are your streets, this turf is your turf,

Don't let anyone tell you that you've got to give in,

Cos you can make a difference, you can change everything,

Just let your dreams be your pilot, your imagination your fuel,

Tear up the book and write your own damn rules,

Use all that heart, hope and soul that you've got,

And the love and the rage that you feel in your gut,

And realise that the other world that you're always looking for,

Lies right here in front of us, just outside this door,

And it's up to you to go out there and paint the canvas,

After all, you were put on the earth to do this,

So shine your light so bright that all can see,

Take pride in being whoever the [bleep] you want to be.

Went out to see it today, it kicked [wagon].

The story kicks off straight away, no annoying cliffhangers or anything. I love the message it gave about the conflicting ideas of religion & science.

One line that blew me away; "Religion is flawed, just as man is flawed.'

If there's one movie I'd recommend this year (Apart from Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen), it's this.

Only fear God,

Know the weapons of the weak,

The weakness of the hard.

I was really impressed with the film, I haven't read the books but it was just as good (if not better than) the Da Vinci Code.

In the books at least, he seems to argue that both have good and bad points depending on the user.

One thing I loved about the books being the little comments about religion, science, and history, which I'm not sure they'd work into the movies, and is probably why there's all the bs on the History Channel about where Jesus' kids are...

Saw it yesterday with some friends. What an utterly mediocre and uninteresting film, I had trouble keeping my eyes open.

I watched it, it was ok, but compared to the book it sucked.

But that can be expected, as most movies never live up

to the books they were based off of.

I think it is good as a movie though, someone who didn't read the book will enjoy it. Someone who did read it will at least get to see all of the art described in the book
