Well I don't think he's excluding the atheists - I think this post was singled out because he said that praying wouldn't do anything. Instead of being a neutrality and simply refusing to pray, he went one step further and said that anyone here that said they would pray were doing something completely worthless. But I don't think any of the posts are necessary or nice, even. The author is asking people to pray for his brother. And more often then not, people say "I won't pray". This is not supportive, in the context of his request. He's not asking for your *verbal* (or textual :P) support. He's asking for *spiritual* support. And if you don't believe in that, that's fine, but don't bring it here and kill his request.

July 14, 200520 yr Alright, well he's at the hospital now sleeping I think breathing good & he's out of that seizure which he had earlier today. They are going to keep him over night so they can do a cat scan to him & try & find out what caused the seizure. Ekk CAT scans are scarey o.0 I had one when I had a concusion. As a few others have said not a prayer kind of guy but I do wish your brother a speedy recovery! Buy him a teddy bear those always help, and cookies lots and lots of cookies!

Satanism IS NOT Devil worshiping. They are completely two different things. Satanism is a form of atheism, so satanists don't believe in God or Devil at all. It's more like a form of philosophy than religion, though.
