The Protect 1 Item Prayer

Trevace

Recommended Posts

My suggestion is simple, but very useful.

I think that the 'Protect 1 Item' Prayer should be an electable item.

For Example,

I'm using the 'Protect 1 Item' Prayer when I die, but I've elected that I don't lose my well earned Fire Cape or a Party Hat, therefore I keep it upon death.

+ IF the 'Protect 1 Item' Prayer does NOT have an elected item, the prayer would act as per usual.

++ IF the elected item has been banked or removed from inventory or wielding spot, the prayer would revert and act as per usual until another item has been nominated.

Thanks alot.

It would realy change the market because people would be protecting items they would have lost causing them to drop in demand. I am in favor of the current item protect atleast for rares because if you bring a rare into the wild you should expect to lose it not it be protected.

You're accusing me of bigotry, how ironic. It's a nice attempt at argument, but your responses are facile and asinine, if not diatribe. Who's arrogant now?

no, say normally you prot ur dh pl8 over your dh helm(wrong but only example} but then u choose to prot helm instead, the price of pl8s would go down but the dh helm would go up so no harm done.

Lol? How CAN you afford to lose a fire cape? All it costs you is time and equipment.

Takes out apart of the risk lol? It's a PRAYER, what about protect from melee, mage and projectiles? Do they not take out an element of risk?

Part of the risk of playing this game is knowing you will lose certain items upon death. I wouldn't take my SGS into a PvP world because I know I can't afford to buy another if I lose it. If you can afford to get your firecape back, why does it matter if you lose it upon death?

erm excuse me... if they protect the helmet over the dharok platebody wouldn't the price of the body rise? as there is more demand? and the price of the helmet will fall as there isn't much demand but it depends if the price changes will balance each other out.....

I like to think of the Dark Bow like a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) - you get one shot and then you're screwed.

Yeah, the whole market depends on people's stupidity with rares and the wilderness...

I support. Though if it stacks with normal protect item, maybe not... We don't want too many items being held, then would could get 2 itemers! *gasp*

Oh wait, it's not a new prayer, just an addition to the old one... Maybe make it a seperate prayer, so it requires a higher prayer level, as it's better. Of course, it still shouldn't stack with the normal one.
