December 8, 200817 yr I had heard the lowest level that you could be to have the quest cape was like level 88 before the new quest came out, now what it is? My friend got his quest cape yesterday at level 94, he belives hes one of the lowest, if not the lowest...what do you think? Please click and warm up my egg.

However, you need lvl 85 for dream mentor, so 85 is lowest. /thread A Guide to Chinning in Ape atoll: up to 325kxp/h!
December 8, 200817 yr It shouldn't be too tricky for a level 85, and that is the minimum we'll see at the minute.
December 8, 200817 yr Is there a point in this thread, really? As SirHartlar pointed out it shouldn't be to big of a deal for a level 85 to do it. That's the lowest level that can possibly do it. /thread RIP Michaelangelopolous
December 8, 200817 yr Author Well honestly, do you think a level 85 could complete WGS, and plus theres there is summoning that gets your combat up and thats needed for some quests, so i high doubt a lvl 85 could. and I havn't seen a thread like this....sorry if there is already one And i'm just curious if anyone has acutally SEEN a lower level who has done it. I wasn't asking what is the lowest level that can do it in text, i was asking what is the lowest level that HAS done it. Please click and warm up my egg.
December 8, 200817 yr Lowest level I've seen with quest cape after WGS so far was a 92 Well honestly, do you think a level 85 could complete WGS Yea, Sara brews could get any 85 through that quest. 2376/2376 total achieved - May 2009 Retired Dec 2009
December 8, 200817 yr *Scouts through the 100's of people that have done it to find someone lower than his friend* /sarcasm. Until someone says "Yes, I'm level 85 and I've done it" We won't know. RIP Michaelangelopolous

December 8, 200817 yr There's no real discussion value here, is there? What would we discuss? If someone level 85 beat it, they'd probably post their own topic. Unless you were thinking of making this thread their trophy case, but I doubt that'd work. So tell me, what would we discuss in this thread? I believe he's trying to tell us that his friend has beaten it and he wants some glory. Being the first to complete the quest is something (Simons Pure <3) But being the lowest level possible that Jagex have set isn't. RIP Michaelangelopolous
December 8, 200817 yr If someone asks "Do you mind if I use your pencil?"...If i say yes, they don't use it, if i say no, they use it....does that make alot of sence? It makes perfect sense actually. By saying yes, you are saying you do mind if they use your pencil. Which means no don't use it... I've done all the quests at a fairly high level. Probably higher than the average person that does it, and I can respect a lower level doing it. Summer's End really beat me up, at level 125 with 95 hits, I died 4-5 times.. A few other quests I find it hard to believe lower levels could do it, I know they do, but it amazes me that they did.

I wonder how the results seems to have such a huge difference at the boss fight. My stats are only a bit lower and the first attempt i ate 20 sharks and had to tele out. On my second, I had no food left when i finished the elemental off with me being at 50 hp. For me that was the hardest boss ive encountered, not once before did i tele out at a boss fight.

That's becase you used the wrong tactics. I used range and moved behind the Jas setting. I lost zero HP but my Terrorbrid took 2x25 hits. I came out with a full inventory. Summer's End is the ONLY quest in which I have died. Wrong tactics? probably. But for me it was the toughest. Still the proud owner of Quest Cape since 8th December 2007All skills used to be 70 or higher. (Dang you Dungeoneering. Oh wait, it's not a skill...)Drops: Whips 8, Black Mask 8, D/Skirt 1, D/Spear 1, D/Shield Left Half 1, D/Boots 12, G/Maul 4, Range Ammy 1, Hexcrest 1.
December 8, 200817 yr I agree with the above, WGS was a disappointment in both difficulty and storyline for me. Summer's End was far more difficult. Even at 136, I died at least twice when I made a slight mistake. The only challenging part of WGS for me was killing the Black Knight Elites for their armor. I killed about 15 DARK Knight Elites before I realized something was seriously wrong. :wall: Want to learn to Nex? The Nex Hunters are recruiting! Click for more information!
December 8, 200817 yr For whatever reason, the Balance Elemental was really, really hard for me. I spoke with several players, many with stats much better or worse, and I think I was alone in this discovery. He killed me no less than four times! He was hitting for 30+, rapidly switching attack styles, prayer styles, and stat draining. I couldn't hit him with anything! It wasn't until I found a safespot and alternated protect magic/range that I was able to beat him. For these reasons, you can cast my vote on WGS being harder than Summer'S End, although I don't think it was supposed to be.

But what really threw me off was the fact that I was hitting so infrequently and low! You know why...? ... all my stats were reduced to 1... I teleported out, got restore potions, brought better stuff, then I owned him and the Tormented Demons. Personally, I think the fighting wasn't hard if you knew what to do. A level 85 surely could do this quest, it was the puzzles that were hard. December 8, 200817 yr Was the balanced elemental fixed after the first day? I did the quest the day it came out, and like I said, It was too easy to be true. I wore Karils, put up protect from melee, and dds speced + whip. I had some good hits in (few 35's with whip, decent dds specs). Ate one shark in the mean time. After he was dead I ate another one to top of my health for the next fight (which was needless, I realised). I didnt switch any weapons (well dds to whip) and didnt switch any prayers. Was I lucky or ... A Guide to Chinning in Ape atoll: up to 325kxp/h!
