December 15, 200817 yr If there is a set bonus, I could see three possible weapons: sword, bow, staff, with the set effect differentiating depending upon which you are yielding. This would provide us with two extra diaries.
December 15, 200817 yr Achievement cape, gnomic staff, Myreque pendant, Ogre platelegs, dwarf(Keldagrim) helmet. IRC Nick: Hiroki | 99 Agility | Max Quest Points | 138 CombatBandos drops: 20 Hilt | 22 Chestplate | 21 Tassets | 14 Boots
December 15, 200817 yr Edgeville + Wilderness = A sword that upgrades from a short sword, to a scimitar, and then finally a long sword that gives you an option of raising or lowering your combat level while in the wilderness. Al Kharid = A helmet, that would look like a turban that would lower shop prices by 10% for you in the Al Kharid shop, 100% chance of smithing iron bars, and higher chance of getting gems while mining. Just some ideas I am throwing out there... Achievements: Dragon Slayer Completed (1/4/2009) | Corrupt Dragon Drops: 3 | Treasure Trails Completed: 1 Click us!
December 15, 200817 yr Good point about different weapons for other diaries: Yanille/Orge (location of Mage Guild) - Staff Burthorpe/Trollheim (location of Warrior Guild) - Sword Seers/Ardougne (location of Range Guild) - Crossbow Desert reward should be legs just because of the leg armourer there. Morytania feels like an amulet would be a great reward Grand Diary would be a cape. You have to have done other diaries and be able to wear Quest Cape. Well, maybe for trimming. Don't care about tasks or what the rewards will do. Such suggestions if they're valid should be put in the RSOF, since Jagex might actually use it. December 15, 200817 yr If they did a seers diary, I bet they would include catherby, hemenster, the range guild, fishing guild, and possibly legends guild. What do you think? People who ask our advice almost never take it. Yet we should never refuse to give it, upon request, for it often helps us to see our own way more clearly.--Brendan Francis
December 15, 200817 yr why do we have to be able to wear all items at once? It makes no sense to me. They don't match, the stats don't work well as a whole. I agree that so far it seems they could work like an outfit, but what would the use be? we might see the remaining items released first, but i don't see that as a limitation to how many diaries. actually they DO match untill now, all 3rd editions become silver-coloured (including boots, but excluding gloves, though this does not matter) furthermore its not like the whole set will be of much use, but thats not the purpose either. For example i NEVER wear my karamja gloves 3 but i always have them in my inv when doing slayer. Its just that when the set finally IS completed, you can wear it proudly (?) and it looks like a genuinely matching set
December 15, 200817 yr I would love to see an extremely difficult diary, although the continuation of the current ones wouldn't be too bad either.
December 15, 200817 yr For a better overview, these are all the areas that have currently been used in Achievement Diaries. Kharidian Desert diary seems a good possibility. Ardougne is a certainty. But I wonder what might come after that? Maybe they'll do something neat and make an Elf Land + Troll + Ogre diary? December 15, 200817 yr to me it will probably be like this: [*:dc5ucmzp] morytania, dragontooth island, harmony and mos le'harmless [*:dc5ucmzp] Al kharid, kharidian desert (sophanem, nardah, polivneach) [*:dc5ucmzp] Seers, catherby, taverley, burthorpe, troll area and potentially wildy [*:dc5ucmzp] Ardoughne, Yanille, feldip hills, tirannwn now i agree that the last two are rather large, but i wouldnt rule out the possibility that there will be a medium - hard - expert diary (or two preferably) /edit: although this guaranteed content poll messes up that whole theory //edit: Some history: 08-05-07 The Achievement Diary (Karamja) 10-09-07 Achievement Diary - Varrock 14-07-08 Lumbridge and Draynor Village Achievement Diary 09-12-08 Fremennik Province Achievement Diary 09-12-08 Falador Achievement Diary
December 15, 200817 yr I was talking with a friend and I think I've got an answer. The most epic diary would be the Wilderness. There would be so much to do, and awesome rewards. How about this: Unaggressive Revenants with Wilderness Platelegs 3? And think of how hard the diary would be (and not pathetically easy like the other 5). How about "deal 30 damage to the CB? Kill a Chaos Elemental? Revenant? How about light all 14 beacons? Access all of the Spirit of Summer portals? Plus you could even include the troll lands and GWD area if you wanted to. An actual DIFFICULT diary? I would love it. Wilderness Diary has the most potential. ~It's Super Effective!
