December 15, 200817 yr This might be a nuubie question for some, but I was wondering what's the best way to gather up some quick coin in Runescape's current economy. So far I've sold Cow Hides and Pure Essences on the Exchange, and I had two high-price rewards back to back on L1 Clue Scrolls. But what else is there that I can do to generate the needed supply money? I have enough money to invest in something I can refine for resale (such as selling Cow Hides and getting them tanned, for example.) and of course there's always the mining, crafting, killing, et all. Advice is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

December 15, 200817 yr id advise on not training construction yet heres a good one to do cut oak logs near east varrock go north of the sawmill and convert the logs into planks making them into planks costs 250gp but in return sell for 425ea

December 15, 200817 yr I wouldn't make oak planks. The process of going to the sawmill to make oak planks yields no xp. Thus it's a waste of time, since there are other ways to make the equivalent of money while actually getting xp. I suggest that you keep mining Pure Essence, at your Mining Level you can easily make 100k coins and hour doing it. ~ Captainkidd

(Weren't we all noobs once? Nobody ever came out of the womb with all 99 on their stats. And I know that a baby being born with a full Dragon set would cause a major ouchie, but I digress.) December 15, 200817 yr pure essence is good. its pretty good money but the xp you get is really lousy. if its possible, try to work your skills to be able to do throne of miscellania, which requires hero quest & fremennik trials.... that'll give you an income of about 75k a day if you've the money.

Also, I heard that Chuck Norris's tears cured cancer . . . and I think I have a way to get him to cry: Make him read one of my earlier stories.
December 15, 200817 yr You, my man, are hilarious. And aviansies are monsters found at the God Wars Dungeon (GWD), which drop noted adamantite bars and are hence a great source of money (300-400k per hour). Unfortunately, they are not feasible at your current levels.
December 15, 200817 yr Aviansies require (to do well) usually at least 70 defense and ranged. They're often recommended to higher-level players as fast cash earners, as they give a consistent profit and ranged experience. At your levels, I would recommend mining pure essence for some cash, but honestly, go explore the game more! Your levels are still low enough to be shooting up like rockets as you train, and training isn't really expensive for you yet! Go have fun! Also, before I forget, getting fishing up and fishing lobsters is both a decent profit and is semi-afk-able (if you want to switch screens back to add a few sentences more to that book you're writing ;) )

December 15, 200817 yr Pick or buy flax and spin into bow string. Will give you slow crafting xp at a profit. Mining pure ess in also nice money for low levels but bad xp. You could also mine gold ores and sell on the G.E. It's about as good as ess money-wise but you get around 3x the xp. Fishing anchovies is surprisingly good money seeing as they are used on pizzas. Telegrabing wine of zamorak west of goblin village on a crowded world is nice money and slow mage xp. Give those a try.
