Mine actually happend. First suspension. As most of us, we take final exams before Christmas. My very last final was US History. Didn't sound too bad because History is my favorite subject. (Well, World History). But when we got our tests I looked at it. I didn't know a SINGLE question. Why? My teacher does NOT know how to teach. He makes us a slide of notes, prints them off and gives them to us. We go over it. The next class. A test of over. What the hell?! We went over it for only 1 day! He's SOOOO preoccupied with current events, and just EASILY gets distracted, he doesn't even teach us anything!

 

 

 

So i put my head down because I didn't want to do it. Seeing as I didn't know anything. He comes out to me saying "Zach, why aren't you doing your final?" I say "I don't know any answers, I've never heard of any of these people!" He says "Sorry" and walks away. While hes walking back to his desk I rip the final in half and walk to the counsolers. I told them what happend and that I wanted a new History teacher for my second semester. My Counsoler said I couldn't, because no one is allowed to change teachers. So now I have to go talk to the principal. Unfortunately they caught me without a hall pass, and my teacher confronted the hall monitor. Now I'm suspended. I'm not affected by it since tomorrows my last day but whatever.

I'm lucky. I haven't been suspended. I don't know if you had read my post in "Worst Thing You Got Caught Doing At School", but it involved buying BB Guns from the Two Dollar Shop for friends. Some kid that I hate got caught, ratted us out, and I'm lucky it was at the end of the year, or else it would have been worse.

Suspended because of a dumb [bleep] of a teacher? Not fair. I've never been suspended, but I have a feeling that someone is going to piss me off and I'm going to be suspended and under arrest for assault.

It seems extreme that you would get suspended for that..

 

 

 

I've never been suspended. The closest I've gotten was getting "benched" (forced to sit on the "BAD STUDENTS BENCH" for 20 minutes) in third grade because I forgot to bring my spelling workbook to class.

 

 

 

And by the way, your US History final sounds a lot like my English one.. :? Except I actually attempted it ;)

I've done the exact same thing, and didn't get suspended. :? It really is unfortunate that you feel that way about your teacher, and that you can't change. Though it can't just be his fault I'm thinking. It is also your job to study.

Yeah you can, I did/do it all the time. I mean, unless every single question was an essay question and you have no clue about history at all. For someone's favorite subject I find it very hard to believe that you couldn't even take a stab at some questions.

in 3rd grade, yelling at my teacher for being a [bleep] got me a detention but i don't think i could get suspended even if i wanted to.

Agreed. I actually wing most of my finals. Even a 50% (which is still an F) is better than a 0%.

Nadril has a point here, if history was your favorite subject you should have at least been able to try. And honestly, why couldn't you have gone for a new teacher long ago?

well reading your post it seems that it is also ur fault. Sure teachers could be bad at doing their jobs or just plain [bleep]es/[wagon] but u have to live with it and still do ur best. if it was a final then u shouldve done ur part and studied. and in my school if u rip a final... u wont get a suspension. ull just fail. and being in halls without a pass is a minor offense and teachers realling doing care.

I don't know yet, but I'm probably retaking it when I get to school in January. I don't know how but I guess I'm just going to guess. (I'm still going to pass the grade even if I don't do it)

A kid accused me of choking him. In that school I was in they never listened to a damn word I said, so I couldn't convince them otherwise. I should've made them feel really bad when I got back to school just say in sort of a half-sad half-crying voice "Every day I was suspended I was beaten 12 times a day, with a bag on Iowa sweet-potatoes." \ :lol:

A couple of times, most were "breaking school property", but also the good old Chicken 1,2 and 4 trick :lol:

 

 

 

That Hall Monitor thing sounds so stupid, we don't have anything like that in Ireland. If you want to leave class you ask, you're either allowed or not, once you're out it's assumed by everyone else you have permission.

I got suspended once in school. I was I think 14 at the time, my teacher tried to convince me that archaic did not mean "Not commonly used" or something along those lines. I got a dictionary, went up to her and read the definition of archaic. She then proceeded to send me to my principal's office for insinuating she was a moron.

Just because I was reported to have choked someone doesn't mean I did. In fact I know I didn't. The point is maybe you didn't do it, so you can't be caught doing it.

Because this thread is similar to this one here: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=644904 , it'd be best just to have only one version of the thread and leave it at that. :) Thanks.
