Lag Death ?! Thrice in two days!

I died three times in the past 2 days!

 

 

 

First time there was no grave marker so I couldn't get my stuff back. WTF?! Where is my gravemarker?!?!?!

 

 

 

Second time: died when making a dash for safespot but got inadvertently killed by a long-range attacker I didn't spot and just spawned...

 

 

 

Third time: died at abberrants due to connection loss, what the?

 

Made it back far enough in time (had about 1 minute left) but there was no grave marker, again!!!

 

 

 

Anyone else had this MAJOR bug?

No it doesn't. I've died at bandos, had my team bless my grave, world hopped to world 2 to buy something, hopped back, ran to GWD, and got my guthans spear back from my grave.

 

 

 

If you die in certain areas, like quests, you won't get a grave. If you don't make it to your grave in time you won't get your items. I'm 100% positive it's not a bug, your the only one complaining of it and I've had a grave many times. As for lag, that's your connection's fault. I never lag.

Note that, regardless of when the gravestone was blessed, it will crumble to dust one hour after you died. It will also collapse when you log out, or if you die again and drop more items, although your items may remain available for a while longer if your gravestone has been repaired or blessed recently.

Lag can be a pain. I rarely lag, but when I do it's sod's law that I'm doing something risky. :x

1. You probably didn't return in time.

 

2. You make it sound like a PvP World. If it was, then you need to read the rules of said worlds again.

Therefore, he wouldn't have lost any items. So what were you arguing against? His items would still have been there, regardless of if it had been blessed.

The item thing is true.

 

Iv thieved and let myself die in draynor, and people have blessed my graves. I came back, demolished, items where still there. I died again, came back, and the first graves ITEMS were still there.

 

 

 

As long as its blessed, logging out shouldnt effect anything. Its tied to the player. It should be tied either way, but, meh.

To begin with, gravestones will stay as long as they've been blessed. Second, if you're having lag issues, either fix your broadband, or fix your computer.

I now know why I lagged so much... some crappy server from Chello is broken so a lot of the Dutch internet connections are rerouted through Germany, who can't handle it, so they reroute it to, then after some more rerouting Poland or something it finally ends up at another server in the Netherlands...

 

 

 

Another point: no blessings. and third time I came back to my grave with far enough time left with no grave (Slayer Tower it was, at abberrants basically besides the chain from ground floor). Wasn't on PVP world either. It's not my fault my connection [Ca-Ba-Gee] right now either.

 

 

 

Funny how a rant can fire of a complete discussion about gravestones though.

 

 

 

Died yesterday with no lag at Mith dragons, got back in time and did had a grave. I still think it was some sort of a bug.
