How many chins on average for 99 range?

Featured Replies

Title pretty much says it all. I've never chinned before, and want to get 99 ranged as soon as possible, so chinning it is. Can anyone give me an estimate on how many I'd need to achieve this? I have 9.562m range xp atm, so I'll need about 3.5m more.

Too random.

I dont need a siggy no moar.

There isn't a way to calc it, the exp is different each time you hit. Ask someone who has chinned to 99 range themselves, they can most likely give you a rough estimate.

buy chins 3k at a time until you get there?

From 84->90 I got about 140 xp each red chin. It's more if you use eagle eye. I would say buy 20k red chins, they'll get you at least 3m xp.

Plus I think the whole teenage girl thing will end soon (hopefully), because my girlfriend is absolutely in love with him(she is 18), and im beginning to feel threatened by his [Justin Bieber] dashing looks.

Even if you have unused chins left over you definetely can sell them back easily. So it won't be a big problem.

Goals:

94 magic

94 ranged

55 slayer

Addy gloves-done

all above no help at all

you'll earn around 200exp per chin making 200k per 1k

about 15-20k in chins (red)

That's exactly why I posted here. I know there's no single way to calc it, else I'd do it myself ;)

@above: thanks for your answers. The ammount of chins needed kinda shocks me so I'm reconsidering..

couldn't you just see how many chins and experience you get in 15mins of chinning?

then take your current exp of 99 exp then divide that by the amount of experience you received from those 15mins then use that number to multiply by the amount of chins you used in the 15mins?

i.e : (bare in mind i know these numbers are not accurate, i've never chinned before so i have no idea of experience etc etc.

15 mins of chinning say gained 50k exp and you used 200 chins

also presume the amount of exp remaining to 99 was 3million

3,000,000 / 50,000 = 60

thus 60 * 200 = 12000 so 12000 chins for 3,000,000 experience.

I KNOW THESE NUMBERS ARE NOT ACCURATE but i believe the use of this equation :

((EXP To 99) / (EXP Gained within allotted time)) *(chins used in allotted time) = number of chins

i HAVE, without a doubt, gone wrong somewhere me thinks.

but maybe not ;)

i tried :)

uh...

Other method is aviansies/chinchompas.

IDK how money efficient that is with your stats. Might be faster to do gwd/chinchompas.

Thoroughly retired, may still write now and again

I was going to avoid this thread, but since no one seems to have a clue:

215 XP\grey chin, 380gp\chin

3,500,000 XP / 215 = 16,279 chins = 16 hours = 6,186,020 GP

Hope that helps.

Yes, they were even better when reds were only 650 each (and greys 350). Now reds are 730 each.

My figures are:

200-210 xp per grey chin (260-270k an hour)

255 xp per red chin (325k an hour)

14 pray pots an hour.

Ever since reds jumped to 1.2k when MM was discovered a few weeks after chins came out.
