Aviansie Tanking and Inventory

Can someone give me a good tanking outfit and inventory, those my stats in sig. If you have a guide that would be even better. Thanks in advance.

 

 

 

EDIT: I now have a good idea for the equipment, now i need a good inv, most like use the one on the guide but what about familiars?

It looks good, but i was hoping for options on what else i could wear. Cuz i don't think i can afford arma legs.

wear other legs with good bonus, karil? maybe? maybe god dhide?

full void + dfs works out nicely, you don't need very much def bonus... prioritize offense

 

 

 

also monsters become unaggressive after like 10 min so you don't really need to worry about god garments either

i heard to get torag legs and helm and blk d hide top with rfd gloves avas accumulater and ranger boots

 

 

 

useing sheild/c bow, or bow is ur choice

helm: torag helm

 

ammy: armadyl pendant

 

body: saradomin d hide / black d hide (you don't really need sara items if your going to arma's erie)

 

legs: dharok/torag legs

 

bow: rune crossbow with broad bolts (bring a mith grapple to get in erie)

 

cape: ava's accumulator(sp?)

 

gloves: zamorak bracers

 

boots: snakeskin boots

 

this outfit has about 270 range defence bonus with 120 range attack and is pretty good if you cant afford armadyl armour.

By the way, if you want to save a bit more, consider taking a god trimmed rune skirt instead of torag's legs. It has less protection, but it offers protection from a god (useful if tanking outside the Eyrie) and still has some decent defense bonuses.

Torag/Gutan/Verac helm OR Saradomin/Zamorak coif (use a helm if using unholy book)

 

Accumulator

 

Armadyl pendant

 

Saradomin/Zamorak/Black dhide body

 

Torag/Dharok legs

 

Snakeskin boots

 

Saradomin/Zamorak bracers/[bleep]y black dhide vamps/RfD gloves/regen bracelet

 

Obby shield/Granite shield OR unholy [zamorak] book (use a shield if using a god coif)

 

Rune crossbow

 

Broad bolts

 

Archer/wealth/recoil ring

 

 

 

You'll need one zamorak item. A saradomin item isn't needed, just wear a holy symbole when you go in to protect you from the mages.

I used 6M on a setup, used 8 B2P (and probably like 23 swordies from drops or so) for 1.6M at aviansies.

Well im not much of an expert but this is what im using and it seems to be fine for me.

 

 

 

Torags Helm ,Torags Legs, Zammy Dhide, Sara Braces, Arma pendant, Granite shield and ring of welth. I make a good 350k an hour. :)

Good, but don't use ring of wealth, use ring of life instead. It might save you if you lag, and since bars aren't considered a rare drop, the RoW actually slightly decreases your profit. You end up with more key halves, but that simply shortens trip time.

when ever i go i just where black d hide top, zammy chaps, sara coif, spirit sheild, barrows rfd gloves, glory, d boots, rune x bow with broad tipped bolts, ring of life just in case it works out fine, you can stay there forever just bring bones 2 peaches tabs or spell if you can

Anywho...

 

 

 

Take Muggies advice. Void + DFS. Pretty much all you'll need. You will be bringing B2P as well so with about 50 tabs (bones to peach tabs...) you should have more than enough to stay for hours on end.

 

 

 

Now I realize not everyone can afford a DFS. So how about trying other items like a Granite Shield or a simple rune kite. They should be decent subs.

 

 

 

Many people I see that get max kill count usually use Torag legs, God D'hide torso, Good shield (DFS, Granite) arma helm, ranger boots, God d'hide bracers (opposite of the d hide top), Fury ammy and Accumulator. As well as a ton of alch runes and B2P tabs. Seems to work well for them :oops:

Thanks for all the posts, had to work so didn't get home till now to reply. If i can ima try to use arma helm and use a fury, if that's good. I do not have 1 piece of void at all so that's out of the question. Im also 73 Summoning so should i use a bunyip or a BoB, such as a war tortoise.

I'd use a combat familiar with B2P. Like muggi said, prioritize offense.

If you don't have a dfs use granite. It's pretty dang cheap after people started cannoning trolls.

Switch the legs for torags if you feel you don't have high enough defence bonus. But you should be fine. Showed you my stats too so you have an idea.
