[hide=Introduction (story of my return) January 1st 2009]As most of you know I quit playing about 2 and a half months ago and have only logged on a few times to say hi. So how have I been? I've been great. Enjoying my senior year, going out alot, beccoming even closer to my friends who I will only be with for 1 more semmester, and just enjoying everything. To me, I do not feel like runescape was ever an addiction. whenever I had free time at my house when i was bored I would play (usually weekday afternoons and sundays), but eventually I got a little bit bored of playing. Whats the point of spending my boredom time playing a game that bored me? So I ended my membership in late October 2008. Little has changed since then...I'm still the exact same person, I still go out just as much and enjoy my real life just as much as I did before. So why am i back you might ask? I still love this game and think that it is an extremely interactive, fun, and growing game, but there was still no drive for me to come back until late december. During my winter break I took a snowboarding trip and on my second day i broke 2 bones in my ankle. So now I'm stuck unable to walk for 2-3 months...A lot has been going through my mind and my life will definately be different for the next few months. So seeing as i'll have a lot more free time hanging around my house doing nothing I decided I want to rebuy my membership. I'm planning to jump in right where I left off. Slaying was mainly all i did in my last few months of playing, but I would like to get my total level a lot higher and I would like to begin questing and acheivment diary(ing) alot more. I'm also hoping that there will be a new skill in 2009 that i can attempt to quickly acheive 99 in. So there ya have it, the story of why i'm returning to rs and what I plan to do.[/hide]

 

 

 

[hide=Music]Music and runescape are like peanut butter and jelly to me. I can sit back, chill, listen to my variety of music, and play. I don't think i've ever played the game without listening to music, so i decided I'd dedicate a section of my blog to all the dank music I listen to.

So what did i do today?

 

I bought my members back for the first time in 3 months.

 

 

 

I then did a farming run, sat in a bank for ~10 minutes debating what to do...

 

 

 

Checked my slayer gem, 180 bloodvelds...nah...thats not a nice welcome back task.

 

 

 

Canceled it for 150 abby demons, and what do ya know, about 30 kills in (right as i was talking about how many whips i had previously gotten):

 

 

 

 

didn't play much today, but i'm excited to get back into the swing of things
